Lovely condo overlooking the water! Large hot tub on enclosed porch. Gas fireplace in living room. Pleasant staff! Easy access to all Cape locations. Nice area to walk around. Great way to spend Thanksgiving!

Room Tip: There are 8 rooms right by the water! You can hear the waves at night!

We stayed the first week of December. It is an older resort and in need of updating, but it is at a decent location and the units are of a good size. The staff was accommodating and friendly.

The location is excellent for a Cape Cod vacation and not bad for a couple of forays into Boston. Even off-season, plenty of local restaurants and shops were open.

Our primary issue was the inability to control the climate in the room. The resort turns off the air conditioning during the winter months. However, even with the HEAT completely off and not blowing it was uncomfortably hot in our unit. At night, my entire family would be wearing minimal clothing and sleeping on top of covers. The only mechanism we had to cool the rooms was to open the doors. Maintenance visited our room more than once, but to no avail.

I could not help but notice other units with doors open (during 30-40 degree December weather) and even the office would often have its doors open.

Had the climate control been resolved to our satisfaction, I'd have given a higher score. However, since sleep is a primary purpose of a hotel/resort, and they couldn't control the temperature, I just can't leave a strong review.

Was given ocean view and nice cape cod rooms with fireplace. Very helpful and friendly staff. Located on beach but not pretty looks unkept. We would provably look for more beachy place. They were in low season so would of loved their oceanfront which was probably empty.

The wife and I were given room (132 ) it was clean. The heat worked, we had access to beach, but it was pretty windy we able to photograph sunrise and sunset from the beach. The night we arrived there was some serious wave and rollers against the beach.

We spent three days there. The resort was a great base of operation as we travel up the arm to Truro to take pictures and view the bay. Went to Wellfleet looked at low tide as the boat sat on the bottom of the harbor.

Thanksgiving dinner was at the Hearth and Kettle in Hyannis, they had a buffet in the Cap Codder resort in Hyannis. Was really good. 27.95. Our server was excellent.

More to follow along with pictures. We stopped at the Christmas Tree Shop in Yarmouth( I think it was Yarmouth). Our last meal on the Cape was at the Pancakeman in Bass River area of South Yarmouth. The food was great and the price affordable.

it is nice to be on Cape Code on the off season. enjoyed the trip.

Room Tip: 132 is an end unit on the ground floor and you can see the beach. All units can see the beack from d...

This was our first time to the Cape and we could not have been happier with our accommodations at the Edgewater Beach Resort. The location was centrally located and easy to get around. The suite was comfortable, nicely decorated and the bathroom was huge. We were on the second floor so we had a balcony that overlooked the center of the property and view of the ocean.

It was November, so we didn't use all the amenities, but my husband did use the fitness center and I used the laundry facilities. The beach was just minutes from the property and was fun to take a stroll and collect shells. We did take the ferry to Martha's Vineyard which was a lot of fun.

Minutes from the Edgewater is a fabulous restaurant called the Ocean House. in fact it was so good we went back on our last night.

Would love to go back.

The room was lovely and very comfortable. It could use a little updating in the bathrooms. The master bed was small but comfy. The twin beds leaned to one side. The bad thing was the WIFI that seemed to come and go (mostly go) at will. When I told them that I was not happy about it and was being charged for it, their answer was "the IT guy was coming". What did he do? On the positive side, the view was lovely and was in a nice location.
