Corporation beach is a great beach to go with young children. The sand is very soft, no rocks or pebbles to walk over to get to the water. Also there is very little seaweed. Off to one side there is a jetty and during low tide more rocks are exposed. This would be fun for some kids to explore and find crabs and snails. Be warned that this is the bay side and the tide does go out pretty far, so cooling off will be a minute or two walk depending on how far up the beach you sit. 2 smallish parking lots so go early during high season. Parking is $25/ day and cash only. If you forget cash you can always stop at rite aid down the street as they do cash back on a purchase( learned from experience :)). They have a newish restroom facility and snack building. snack bar was not open for the season yet, so I cannot comment on the food selection. Nice outdoor shower to wash off after a long day in the sand and salt. Life guards stationed at both sides of the beach. The water was chilly but it is early June so I'm not surprised. bring some lunch, umbrella and just relax.
