“Great lobster rolls by the harbor ... you might have to wait”
Reviewed August 11, 2014

We got in line just before noon on a weekday, and had to wait a bit, but within a few minutes, the line was a lot longer. Overall, the food was good and the service was friendly. And if you like dining outside at picnic tables, with small boats going by, this place is hard to beat. We enjoyed our large lobster rolls. The onion rings were good, mostly onion (not just a bunch of batter), but one order was enough for about 6 people. Don't come here expecting white tablecloths and stylish restrooms; you get a big roll of paper towels instead of napkins, and there are a couple of porta potties.

“Best lobster rolls anywhere, any time”
Reviewed August 11, 2014

The title says it all. Large chunks of fresh lobster meat on a buttered roll with cole slaw and French fries by the water. What could be better on a beautiful summer day. Though you might have to wait in line for a few minutes to place your order and then a few minutes more to get served, everyone else is also patiently waiting, enjoying the wonderful setting. And when your order arrives, the wait and any other problems of the day are quickly forgotten with that first bite. Can't wait to return.

“Great Lobster roll”
Reviewed August 6, 2014

The setting is beautiful. It is a great place to sit near the water in a laid-back atmosphere. It is a very popular place so be prepared to wait in line during busy season. When we arrived they had someone directing parking so that was helpful. Unfortunately our order got waylaid in the back so my husband's fried clam/scallop platter was a bit cold, but nevertheless it was very good. My lobster roll was fantastic. There did not appear to be any toilets though, only portable ones. I thought it was reasonably priced for what you got and I would definitely make it a priority to come here again.

“Disappointing”
Reviewed August 6, 2014

Got the impression this was a real restaurant on the water. Had trouble finding it because its a large shack hidden in the marina. Wife and I planned to sit and have a drink outside, found out they have no bar, no restrooms either, just porta potties near the parking lot. You order your food and they bring it out to you. The water view was nice but if its a rainy day, there are no seats inside. Fried clams were a little over done, lobster roll was good but not outstanding. If you are looking for a restaurant with some atmosphere and outside dining, this is not the place, there are dozens on the Cape that can offer a water view, better food, real restrooms and cocktails.

“Worth the wait!”
Reviewed August 5, 2014

My absolute favorite place on the Cape for lobster rolls--they have at least three times as much lobster in them, and are more delicious than any others I've tried. The prices are amazingly reasonable, too, particularly for the raw bar. The setting is glorious, right on the harbor. A perfect spot for lunch. You may have to wait a while, but it will be more than worth it! Only downside is that the outdoor toilets are disgusting--best to go before or after. Cash only.
