We tried to go for dinner... But with over a two hour wait we ended up at marshside (see review). We went back today for lunch. The lobster roll was huge! Probably the best I've had on the Cape. Casual atmosphere ... We sat by the water and watched the boats to by. Great place... Go off-peak! (After 1pm)

There are not a lot of places you can literally eat on the water in Cape Cod., This is one of them. Friendly ownership-JC Cucchetti is a really nice guy. Great place for breakfast starting at 7am--great pancakes and breakfast sandwiches. Great lobster rolls for lunch, along with raw bar. Totally casual eating on picnic tables next to Sesuit Harbor Inlet. Real Cape Cod.

This is the place to get the best lobster rolls in the area. Right on Sesuit harbor. Eat on picnic tables and watch the boats come and go as you eat. Awesome local favorite.

This is a terrific place to eat in good weather. The seating is at picnic tables outdoors, and it sits on a rocky promontory overlooking Sesuit Creek. The atmosphere is very, very casual. There are pleasure and fishing boats coming in and out of the creek at all times of day.
The food is ordered and paid for inside a small building. The cafe is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have almost always been there for dinner,
This is local fare, mostly fried clams, fish and scallops. It is very good food, without question. There is a raw bar where you can get half-shell items and chowder. They also have salads, omelets (at breakfast), burgers (at lunch), steak tips for meat lovers and other food. The cafe also has a children's menu which is actually quite inclusive.
If going, consider that late afternoon or early evening on a summer day and with clear weather, the place will likely have a line to get in. The parking is sort of random and it is scattered throughout an adjacent boatyard and in dirt lots.
We try to eat here as a group with cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Some will do the ordering and paying while the others will scout around for a vacant table and set up there. The orders are usually delivered by young people waking around with trays and yelling patron names. Or you can hang out and wait for the food at the building.
There is no liquor, beer or wine, but many people bring their own.
Also, bring cash or a check. They accept no credit cards.
We highly recommend Sesuit Harbor Cafe when you are on the cape. It is an experience.

Make sure to plan your visit as there can be a line, although it did move when we were there on a Sunday night. The sign says it closes at dusk.

This is seafood in the rough and the food is delicious. We shared a couple of seafood platters onion rings, and lobster roll. The lobster rolls was full of lobster meat with little else.

We saw many people with BYOB wine and beer.

Classic Cape Cod!!
