Had a great dinner here with the family. Very casual and pleasant outdoor dining. Had a tasty Cod dinner. The addition of a couple of scrumptious clam cakes was a such a treat that we came back the next day just them. My husband and kids enjoyed their burgers and chicken as well. The prices were very reasonable. Will definitely come back.

most cape travelers hop on 6 to head back off cape, we stayed on 6a and were pleasantly surprised by Captain Frosty's. we stuck with the cape favorites, lobster roll, clam strips, fish and chips and the special of the day, fish bits. the service was quick, the eating arrangements were clean, as were the rest rooms, and the food is right up there with the best. the lobster roll was full of meat with little mayo. the clam strip plate was overflowing and fresh, the fish platters were moist and delicious. the fries are sliced thin and unlike some of the fast food places, actually taste like potatoes. try the cole slaw, it tastes homemade. when youre done you can top it off with a soft serve or a banana split if youre still hungry, the ice cream selections are numerous and delicious. plenty of parking and plenty of seats indoor or out. its worth it to stay on 6a a little longer on your way home.

Not sure why I haven't visited Captain Frosty's in such awhile. The service was fine - nothing spectacular. The young women behind the counter took a little while to acknowledge me. The lobster roll platter was worth it. Big chunks of lobster meat and not full of mayo! Buttered and toasted roll. French fries were tasty - not greasy. The platter also came with coleslaw which was fine/ average and too crab cakes. The crab cakes were more of a hush puppy consistency with not a lot of crab meat. Busy take out on a Sunday afternoon.

I wanted basic fish & chips and Captain Frosty's supplied exactly what I wanted - they were light and fresh, and as a bonus the staff was very friendly!

Family was starving, not much out here, then saw this roadside place. We bailed out of the car and placed our orders! DQ type - order at the counter - typical tourist town over priced, but man was it good. Excellent fish and chips and burgers. Hit the spot for us tired travelers. Ate outdoors and enjoyed the mild weather too.
