Description: Fin,chef owned and located in the heart of Dennis Village, serves creative, contemporary seafood and more. We feature the best in locally sourced food including oysters from Dennis and produce, in season, from numerous farms across the Cape like CapeAbilities, Surrey Farm and Cape Cod Organics. We are on 6A in a 200 plus year old house with dining up and downstairs and conveniently next door to the Cape Playhouse complex. The menu changes seasonally to showcase the areas offerings and while our focus is primarily on seafood we also offer organic beef and poultry.

Everything about our experience was excellent. The appetizer and entree selections focus on fresh seafood, soups and salads. We have eaten at Fin several times and loved whatever we ordered. It's dinner only and make advanced reservations.

There is no way you could find fault with the service and food at this small intimate restaurant. However, you need to bring your platinum card because the fare is not inexpensive. However, it is well worth it for a special occasion especially if you like seafood.

My husband and I ate here twice during our one week visit--a full dinner in the restaurant and a lighter meal in the bar area. Too bad we discovered this place at the end of our stay. The food was exquisite, service very attentive and helpful. And the decor is comfortable but drop dead gorgeous.
We are exploring another visit to the cape this spring and proximity to Fin is a major selection criteria.
As others have mentioned, it is a bit pricy but worth every penny!

After eating here over half a dozen times since Fin's opening, I felt compelled to share my positive thoughts on this very fine restaurant. Chef/owner Martha Kane has a beautiful artistic style, not only on the food presentation, but on the staging of an old route 6A Dennis house. From the copper bar to updated colors and glass panels, she has imbued Fin with a classic contemporary feel, topped only be her very solid menu offerings.
With the name of Fin, you would expect the menu to be mostly seafood oriented, which it is, but offering a varied selection way above the norm. The oysters are exceptional, cultivated by her husband Jonathon Smith, the Maine Jonah Crab cake a standout, and salads wonderfully straightforward and beautifully combined and presented.
On a recent visit, we enjoyed a delicious Herb de Provence Flounder with excellent house made gnocchi, asparagus, and a Meyer Lemon finish, beautiful. On the meat side, there are several offerings of very high quality Pineland farms sirloin as well as filet, with a venison demi. All of the accompaniments to the dishes are well thought out and executed adding extra dimension and supportive flavoring to the entree, and artfully presented, now you can't beat that.
The pastry chef has a delicate hand with the desserts, subtle, understated, and spot on. And last but not least is the refined unobtrusive service, professional and proper, acting as the finishing presentation of the chefs inventive style, hard work, and artistic view of her culinary endeavors.
I firmly believe that Fin well deserves to be included in the Top Five restaurants on Cape Cod.

Service was top notch and food was local, fresh and fantastic. Don't skip dessert. Very romantic, modern, but still New England.
