I am a Dedham native but have been stuck in the South for 42 years. My wife and I returned for my 50th high school reunion in Sept. and we met four of my friends dating back to grammar school and their wives at the Brickhouse. It was a Thurs. night and the place was busy; we had made reservations for 9 of us and no one rushed us. The drinks, food and service were first class. The prices were very reasonable. The wait staff was most personable and the manager stopped by twice to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. It reminded me of the Italian Kitchen and Washington Gardens restaurants in Dedham which are both gone now as far as the quality of food and service, but the furnishings are much nicer. If you want a nice meal in a nice spot at a reasonable price, this is it.
