Danversport Yacht Club has an outside patio overlooking the inlet filled with boats.
The menu is excellent, the waitstaff is extremely accomodating and the atmosphere is wonderful. You will love it here if you just want to relax and enjoy a great meal.

great place, friendly staff, food seemed to be OK for most of us. We had a dinner of about 50 people on a weeknight.

We were not there for very long and everything went just fine.

The experience for the was tense to say the least due to the horrible management . The staff were demeaning to several party-goers, due to direction of the managers. In one specific instance the bridal party was forced to get dressed in the staff offices as oppose to the rooms they were originally promised when the contract was originally signed. Then when the event came a older aged party goer did not remember her ID. Instead of simply refusing to serve the woman, the staff continued to point and harass her. The bar manager even came down from his "surveillance spot" and harassed her. Then went to the bar and called the servers over while they are stood and pointed at her several time, even making jokes in a very disrespectful manner. Eventually the woman's husband (the one being harassed) had to pull aside the bar manager due to how unprofessional the situation had become. Dispite their best efforts to thwart underage drinkers, it was obvious they were not IDing all those that needed to as there were several individuals underage to were not only drinking but completely gone and falling over themselves. All the while the entire staff was picking on the poor 30 year woman for not remembering her ID (of which she had to drive and hour home and back, missing a significant portion of the wedding). Adding insult to injury the individual in charge of the wedding didn't explain any of the specifics needed for the groomsmen to do their part in assisting to seat people. Ultimately the best part of the situation was the job done by the DJ and uplighting team, of which had nothing to do with the establishment. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE FOR YOUR SPECIAL OCCASION, ESPECIALLY A WEDDING!!!! YOU RISK HAVING YOUR MOST PRECIOUS DAY DESTROYED IN WAYS YOU WOULD NEVER EXPECT, SPECIFICALLY BY THOSE MANAGING THE VERY EVENT!!

Went here last night with a friend for supper. Sat outside with a view of the boats and a wedding to the left with some music. Having had a boat here for many years, 10 years ago, and family parties and weddings, DYC has a lot of memories for me. I don't think it's been the same since they "redid" the restaurant. We both got the baked haddock dinner special, which also gave you a salad and dessert for $17.99. Otherwise you would pay 4-5 dollars extra for a salad.
Ths salad was average, the fish was a small portion, average, baked potato was microwaved and awful, cole slaw was average. The best part for me was the grapenut pudding(small portion) which has always been good here. So with a glass of wine (I hate those half glasses of wine) and tip, it was $30 each. That's too much for what we got-average food....very disappointing. Waitress was Ok-little slow but tried hard.

We just returned from a delightful evening at the Yacht Club restaurant. It was a beautiful summer evening, we sat outside at a spotless table, and had efficient and friendly service. As well, our food was excellent, perfectly seasoned, and arrived hot and well plated. Two of our guests had the lobster roll which was overflowing with f-r-e-s-h lobster on a toasted (not doughy) bun with tastefully seasoned coleslaw on the side.
My husband had fried flounder that was lightly battered, cooked perfectly and you could distinguish that the oil it was fried in was fresh. I chose an appetizer portion of coconut shrimp that were cooked perfectly and came with an orange marmalade dipping sauce which was a very nice accompaniment.
Drinks were generous and well made, and the view of the harbor enhanced our dining experience. I would not go for the dessert menu, nor would I go and sit in the bar; there is too much beauty from the outside waterfront dining to waste time in a noisy environment.
It is a very nice environment for a date night or for a family gathering. And you can keep the cost down if you only order appetizers and drinks.
