If you have plenty of time and want a divine fish dinner, Fishbones is a good bet. No reservations taken, but you can call ahead and get your name on a list...we did that and still waited about 15 minutes. If I drink it's usually wine, but since we were here on our wedding anniversary I thought I'd try the Blood Orange martini...and it was sensational, truly one of the highlights of my 2010 summer dining experiences so far. Suggestion: arrive early or off-peak to avoid the crowds and the bugs. We dined from 7-9 pm on a Friday night outdoors on the patio and the place was packed. There were no bugs for the first hour and a half, but by 9 pm we were swatting away the mosquitoes and whatever else was flying around us. Next time we'll aim to get there closer to 5-5:30 pm range.

Upsides: Food is slightly above average.
Downsides:
service, atmosphere, wait times, crowdedness, price.

Take out always ends up soggy. Just get soup or somethin' since it won't matter.
Food is just about like a legal seafoods.

If you are looking for some great seafood - Fishbones has the best fish market around. I have bought from their market over and over again and have always had the freshest fish. The service has always been pleasant.

The meal itself was good, but the entrees arrived as we were halfway through our salads. Water had to be refilled upon request. Atmosphere is one of busy, busy...turn that table. Menu has interesting items, prices are a fairly reasonable for fresh fish. Wine list could use a few more moderately priced items.
