I took my Fiancee to the CBI for her 30th birthday as a relaxing weekend away. We couldn't have picked a better spot to spend it. We have an ocean side cottage suite Mooncusser, amazing room with beautiful outside deck, 2 fireplaces, and amazing over-sized tub. We had a great dinner at the Sacred Cod Tavern when we arrived, great food and awesome atmosphere. The staff was amazingly friendly and took care of any request we had of them. The location and ability to walk to quaint downtown Chatham was a huge benefit, the little community has a great New England feel. The weekend was more than we could have imagined and can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: The ocean side suites are amazing with giant rooms and amazing views

We stayed 2 nights there in an premium main building room end of october. The only negative point was the price for this low season stay. The Hotel's gourmet restaurant Stars was closed for dinner. The spa is not to compare with european standards (only massages and treatments available) The location is great ( beautiful ocean view). The hotel staf is very kind and helpful. In all the place will be perfect for summer holidays.

Great resort. Rooms a bit small and generic but the property is great! Great beach with boats to rent. Great location. Service excellent. Pool is crowded. Car service to town. Buffet breakfast is great but best if take the food to the porch!

Chatham Bars Inn is a grande-dame hotel and was a wonderful five-day retreat on our New England trip. It overlooks Chatham Harbor and the Atlantic Ocean and sits atop a windswept bluff in the quaint Cape Cod town of Chatham. The ground-floor lobby gives way to the formal restaurant on one side and a porch-fronted lounge on the other. The wrapping verandah, which overlooks the ocean, has all white columns and rattan chairs.

We stayed in the elegant premier guest rooms in the resort's main inn with a massive balcony deck with gorgeous views to the ocean. The room was very large and decorated in shades of blue with white. The room has a Bose Wave radio that we played soft music on while listening to the waves come in and the seals calling out to each other. We fixed Nepresso coffee in the morning and sat on the deck watching the sun rise.

This is a perfect place to stay to venture and explore all areas of the Cape. We went to all of the lighthouses and my Sweetie spent a day biking in pure pleasure and excitement. We walked to the private beach in front of the resort, sat by the pool and had a day at the renovated spa.

I lived on Cape Cod as a kid and the five days at Chatham brought back wonderful memories.

Room Tip: Premier rooms in the main inn with balcony overlooking the ocean

A delightful location offer sea views from some rooms. As well as the main house, there are a number of "cottages" scattered around, which could be up to a 5 -10 minute walk from the mainl building. The cottages offer spacious accommodation compared with small bedrooms in the main building. Staff helpful and friendly. Food good.

Room Tip: Stay in a cottage
