The ocean view cottage offered a luxurious experience and a wonderful view of the sunrise.
The Inn, staff, and restaurants were tops. We'll have to come back in the summer to experience the beach and the pool.

Thanks again for taking the time to write about your recent guest experience at Chatham Bars Inn. I am happy to hear our staff, restaurants and Main Inn were to your satisfaction this past weekend.

We look forward to your return and please consider us once our outdoor pool and beach opens for the summer season beginning Memorial Day weekend.

Top notch resort on Cape Cod, The Chatham Bars Inn did not disappoint! My husband took me for one night to celebrate my birthday. I am sure it helped, that it was a beautiful spring day - and we walked along and sat by the beach. The Inn is beautiful, the common room with fireplace was inviting, the rooms cozy and well appointed. It is an expensive hotel, but off season, the price was wonderful, and truly a great way to relax and enjoy this hotel for less money and less crowds!! We will definitely return!!

I booked this Inn for my fiancee's birthday expecting a nice quiet winter romantic getaway, instead we were guests of the Inn among a large wedding party. This is a beautiful Inn and the bridal party and their guests were very fortunate to have stayed there but we do not feel as fortunate. First let me say that we were not allowed to dine in the dining room because of the wedding so that left only the tavern to dine. Luckily we had enough sense to book a reservation for dinner but only had a choice of 5 pm and 8:15 pm, we chose the later. We arrived on time and were seated immediately at a cocktail table next to 2 couples who obviously had already had a few drinks. Nothing wrong with that but the tavern was so crowded and noisy we could hardly speak to one another across the small table. We feel that if an Inn is going to host a wedding, they should go out of their way to accommodate the other guests who were unaware of this event when they booked their reservations.

I am truly sorry for the disappointment we caused by our Main Dining Room being closed due to a private function.

We always regret when weddings or company events limit the dining options of other in-house guests. At the time a room reservation is made, it is not always known yet that the Main Dining Room or other venues may be blocked for a private celebration. We have therefore decided to implement a procedure whereby guests affected by such circumstances will be called prior to their arrival to advise them accordingly and offer assistance with reservations and transportation to other restaurants. I apologize that this was apparently not done in your case and I have addressed this oversight with the department head concerned.

We look forward to welcoming you back for a guest experience that will meet every one of your expectations from arrival until departure.

Everything about the CBI was GREAT! We especially loved the beds (we got ~11 hours of sleep each night), the fireplace in the room, the huge bathtub, the lounge area in the main lobby, and the Tavern bar - inventive and delicious food (lobster pizza!) and drinks! The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable! Beautiful location, even in the off-season!

Thank you for your recent comments on our guestrooms, dining choices and staff. Our new menu items in The Tavern have been a huge hit in recent weeks. It is our dedicated staff that consistently works hard to make each guest experience as positive as yours.

We look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

We wanted to get out of town and just spend a few days away, relaxing. I'd heard about Chatham Bars for years, and it seemed a good choice, since we really just wanted spa services and good food for a couple of days.

We had that and more! The main Inn is a gorgeous building, but completely accessible -- feels like going to Grammy's summer cottage in Newport, where you'd best keep your feet off the furniture, but you can play a pickup game of checkers any time, and the grown ups enjoy a cocktail even though it's not 5pm yet.

We stayed off-season weekday, and found the staff to be friendly (every single person we met!), the food was terrific, our room (with a fireplace and a bay window with seat) was roomy and comfortable, the spa was wonderful and relaxing (one of the best massages I've ever had), the Tavern very accommodating, and...well, it was relaxed and fun! No one got in our way, but there was always someone there when we needed them.

I am definitely looking forward to coming back. While I can imagine things might get pretty busy in season, this was one of the most relaxing getaways we've had.

We booked a room for a weekend getaway at a hotel that we had heard many good things about. The chatham bars was a great place, we walked main street in Chatham at night, had an amazing dinner, and just enjoyed the room and the view. We were on the bluff and the ocean view was incredible! I loved the staff and they treated us like royalty. I would highly recommend this Inn.
