Booked a deluxe suite at off season rate of $300,00 per night. Room was very very small not what we were expecting. Bases on room rare and accommodations at the property I would not recommend this hotel.

Really like staying at the Wayside Inn. We have stayed there for a few years but this is my first time writing a review. The rooms are well appointed with lovely linens, comfortable beds, and the hotel itself is nicely maintained. They offer a complementary breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, a variety of muffins, bagels, and of course coffee and tea. It is a wonderful place to stay for a long weekend during the winter and early spring months.

The Inn is in the heart of town so you can park the car and just walk around to shop or have lunch...this is a big plus in the summer....parking is impossible in Chatham.

So if you are looking for a nice, comfortable, convenient place to stay....the Chatham Wayside Inn is a wonderful bet...try it....you will like it!!!!

We recently had a catered event for 100 at the Wayside. Linda was extremely helpful with menu suggestions and options, decorations and seating. Service was outstanding. Food quality for a large group was also excellent. Of particular note was the salmon and the peanut butter pie. The Wayside has its own parking and the back room opens on to a nice patio. Overall all a flawless, well coordinated experience!

My wife and I rented a house on Columbus Day weekend for our anniversary and there was a problem with our reservation. We had to find last minute accommodations so we called the Chatham Wayside Inn. The Inn Keeper, Jennifer Simmons, not only found us a room, it was comfortable, cozy, and overlooked a small park with a Gazebo. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are planning to return there next year. Our meal at the Wild Goose Tavern on the property was by far the best meal we had all weekend. The location of the inn is perfect, it is on Main street so we were able to walk to all the nearby shops. Once again I would like to thank Jennifer Simmons for her hospitality.

I stayed here for two nights: the location, decor, cleanliness and staff could not be faulted and the quality of service and food in the restaurant was excellent. This hotel really did feel like 'home'.

Decorated very lovely. Can sit by the fire or on the porch in the glider. Linen and towels were great. Resturant in the hotel very good. Center of town to be able to walk ,see the beach or shop. Plenty of small resturants nearby. Parking was not a problem. Very historic feel.

Room Tip: Not a place I would bring young children. Corner rooms were quite.

It is impossible to find a fault in our stay here. The first impression of the outside of the Inn on arrival, the pleasant receptionist, and the beautiful room with its veranda were all first class. We stayed two nights and ate in the restaurant both nights. The food could not have been better, although on the second night we were put into the narrow, booth section rather than the open restaurant - a small point but..

Room Tip: I can't imagine here is a bad one!
