We stopped in on a January Friday late, about 2 I think so there was no one else in the dining room. Not a surprise but we had a table on the street with lots of sunny windows so we felt a part of things, keep in mind its January so not many people on the street (Another in winter in a summer town :)

The gentleman who waited on us could not have been more accomodating and the food was varied and good - a very nice lunch I would easily do again.

My family has a home in East Harwich so we spend every weekend down the Cape in the summer. We have been to the Goose twice. Our first experience was New Years Eve which turned into a 3 hour nightmare.Food was under cooked and it took almost an hour in between our appetizer and entree course. The steak was undercooked and we didn't dare send it back because we would have never seen it again and there was nothing done to make the situation right. But we gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back again only to have a repeat of that nightmare and horrible service. Our waiter threw a hissy fit on the hostess and then we got a new waitress and it took forever to get our food. We will never go back.

Great service, great food, excellent atmosphere. Have been here two years running for a leisurely lunch on the patio after a day of shopping in Chatham. Watch the world stroll by here. Great food and good servers. It is so good that we don't even think to look for another option in Chatham.

I had the best sole fish special dinner here, so fresh and delicious. We also had a great salad called the wedge w/ blue cheese dressing and bacon. i will go back again next time im in chatham.

We could not get a table here despite the fact it was at least a third empty. Adding to the indifferent hostess was an equally indifferent bartender. We left and went elsewhere.
I will have to say the food coming out of the kitchen had a nice presentation.
