What more could you ask for? Although some reviewers had less than a stellar time here, we had both a quick dinner and a lovely lunch, and enjoyed both. I wondered, too, how good could this place be when the dining room started to fill with a bus tour group. But, the food was very good, with some wonderful choices. Servers were friendly and service was efficient. No problems, no complaints from us.

When I had lunch here with my parents on a Sunday, the place was about 75% full. The menu looked very appetizing, but they didn't execute well. Service was quite slow; the crab cake appetizer was delicious but none of our lunches was worth raving about. I had a chicken-spinach-bacon burger, besides the gummy roll and the cold sauteed onions, it didn't have much flavor at all. Mom and Dad both ordered lobster rolls. Although plenty of lobster meat, there was barely any dressing and it was unimpressive. After flagging down the waiter for our check, we got smacked with the bill- $25 per lobster roll! Two weeks earlier I got one in P-town for $14. That overpriced lunch pretty much ruined our afternoon.

Attracted by the outdoor seating along the road we stopped in to have a cocktail. We asked to sit outside but were told that was for dinner only and we were directed to the desolate bar area. We used the restroom and tried again saying we would take a menu and order appetizers. It was not like there was a line. Open tables everywhere. Felt like we were a bother. We ordered drinks and appetizer. Service was slow, almost nonexistent.
Food was fine, drinks were fine, service needs training in customer service.
Would never go back or recommend to anyone.

We had dinner at the Wild Goose Tavern. Everything was very nice. Good service, nice menu and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the menu.
