Awesome food! We were on the search for good seafood and boy did we find a winner. As we were reading the menu a couple walked by and said you can't go wrong. So true. The restaurant has very unique lay out. Service was good, but the waitress seemed pissed off and like she had much better things to do than take our order and answer our questions. She was the only downside to this otherwise wonderful place. Vegetarian and vegan options were good as well.

“A little local color - eclectic seafood offerings”

Great food, a little noisy and packed on even a Sunday night. Looked like a popular spot with the townies and no wonder. Be sure to make reservations. Portions on the larger side.

“Mon dinner”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 29, 2014

Surprised by the number of guests on a chilly Monday evening in April.
As reported, portions are very large. Oysters were amazing.
The salad, Panzanilla Salad was lacking, the bread was too dry and crunchy, should have been incorporated in the salad. The steak tips were great over the Stilton mashed, the broccoli and rabe didn't add anything, should have been omitted. The étouffée was superb, grits, seafood, sausage and chicken-perfect. We didn't have a dessert so can't report.
Atmosphere was very appealing and typical.
In a town with many restaurants, this should be a reservation you make and keep!

“2 out of 3.....”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 28, 2014

Great food! Friendly, kind, attentive server! Impudent host Daniel! We had a reservation for two. When I asked Daniel for a different table, he was very rude & didn't relocate us despite the availability of several other tables. He didn't even stop to talk to us but rather spoke while he was walking away. He put a bit of a damper on our 1st anniversary dinner.

“Dont go between 3 and 5 PM ”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 25, 2014 via mobile

We showed up around 330PM and were told they were in between lunch and dinner.

They offered a smaller bar menu. It was an awkward time to be there but the food was good. Throughout our meal the employees were cleaning and preparing the dining room for dinner.

I would advise not to go between 3 and 5 PM.
