The food was great. Owner came around to make sure all was enjoyed. It seemed that a lot of local folks came in for drinks and dinner as the bar was full of people who seemed to know each other.

We wanted a light dinner on our first night here so we went to the Longshore. We bith had a cup or chowder which we both loved. Not watery at all. I had the lobster roll which was tasty. She had the fried clams and the bread kept falling off. Actually every piece of clam the bread came off. It looked like she never ate the food lol. The waitress came over and her face said it all. She asked if everything was ok? We said yes but honestly, bread shouldn't fall off every clam strip. We got our food fast. We werethere by 8 and gone a bit after 830. Quick meal. Would go there again but would order something other than the clam strips. Decor was nice and simple. Interesting dinner tables. Place was clean. Some reviews may be old or people are picky with decor.

I believe this is a family owned business. The woman who greeted us couldn't have been friendlier. Our Waiter was great. The food was delicious. Our children were invited out to see the kois pond and feed the fish! They loved it! Thanks for a lovely last night in Chatham!

We enjoyed more than a few hours at this lovely restaurant. We started at the bar and enjoyed the company of a few regulars who live in the area. The bartender John, made some fruity cocktails, which were so enjoyable. We then ate dinner in their dining room. We had the fish (very thin but breading was light) and chips and the beef tips (tender and full of flavor). Would recommend this to all. The place is clean and the staff friendly.

We were looking for a place to go with kids, and this place was great. They could go outside to see the fish and fountain which was enclosed, and we could see them from the windows. Food and service were good!
