go to watch the boats come in with their catch, see seals and sea Lions each time you visit in the summer right off the observation deck (free) and leave with very fresh seafood from the market!! A+ for Cape Cod feel and experience

“Great location, fresh seafood -avg taste”
Reviewed August 9, 2012 via mobile

Enjoyed the pier. Ordered lobster roll whcih was average and some clams which were average. Service was only slightly friendly and when i asked where the restroom was they appeared annoyed and pointed across the parking lot. Well there goes that t-shirt purchase. Nice location but an avg seafood shack with avg. service.

“Fresh seafood take-out”
Reviewed August 5, 2012

Right on the port - worth a visit. Fish & Chips was fine - fish was fresh. But the location was generally unfriendly - no parking here, no walking there, dirty tables under a tree to eat at.

“Cool view with a unique setting”
Reviewed August 2, 2012

Worth a half hour visit to see how the incoming days catch gets handled. The seals were awesome to watch as they floated by. Some seals seamed to be hams as they loved the attention from the onlookers on the 2nd level of the observation deck. It was cool to see some massive fish get transported from boat to container but be prepared for the aroma of fish in the air.

“Best Lobster Roll with a View”
Reviewed July 28, 2012

The Chatham Pier Celebrates 300 hundred years of maritime history. It's a great place to take the whole family for fresh seafood and to take a close look at the fishermen unloading their catch. It is also the best place to look at the local seals as they swim around the pier.
