I have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Chatham Gables Inn in Chatham, MA. This B&B is wonderful! Spotlessly clean, charming, and the in-room fireplace was truly appreciated with the extremely low temperatures! Andrea and Dave made me feel welcome, and their attention to details surpasses many hotels that I have stayed in. Breakfast was wonderful, and Andrea even provided me with Irish Breakfast Tea!

I wish them all the best in this new venture. I will certainly return and will tell all my Cape Cod traveling friends about this gem.

We are so happy that you were pleased with your visit to Chatham Gables Inn; we are honored you chose our Inn to spend time on your very special day. It was our pleasure to make sure on such a chilly winter's day, that the fire was roaring, and you were comfortable and toasty in your room. Thank you for noticing our attention to detail, as that is so important to us as innkeepers. It is our joy to provide the best for our guests! We hope you were able to relearn what it means to relax during your time with us here at CGI, and it is our hope that we will have the pleasure of welcoming you once again, "back home" at Chatham Gables Inn.
Thank you.

We went within a month of new owners, Dave & Andrea, having bought the inn. It could have been bad with new owners, but in reality, you would not have known they just bought the place if you didn't know who the prior owners were or if they hadn't told us.

Everything is warm and comfortable, just what you need in the winter. The common areas are relaxing and inviting. Owners are not intrusive and make it sometimes feel like you are just hanging out at home. Games are available if you want to play, or you can just take advantage of a comfortable sofa and enjoy your book. I would say that in the warmer months with a side yard it looks like you will have a nice spot to sit in the sun while you read.

Our room was spotless, and the bathroom was a nice size too. Flat screen tv and room to sit if you don't want to sit on the bed. You have your own temperature control so you are not dependent upon what someone else thinks is comfortable.

You stay at a B & B for breakfast and you are not shorted here. You will be given choices on what you want to eat and your plate will not be overloaded, but there are seconds to be had. Muffins, scones and local jams are a nice way to start your breakfast. If you are lucky the baked french toast is on the menu.

Andrea and Dave moved to Chatham from Nantucket, they appreciate the Cape and are not random people who bought a good business. They also appreciate B & Bs having been regular B & B people, which I think is important to know what people are looking for when they stay at a B & B. They have plans for further improvements and it will be interesting to see where they go with them.

The location is a bit of a walk to town, but we had no problem doing it, it was actually a nice walk that will be even nicer in the warmer months. By car, you are not far from anything in Chatham and it isn't hard to get anywhere.

We hope to be back.

We have always felt that Chatham is a smaller version of Nantucket, off island! After a handful of years traveling and staying at various Inns and B&B's we can appreciate and make a great effort to anticipate every need imaginable upon each guest arrival. We take great pleasure in pleasing our guests in every way, and delight in the fact that by anticipating every need, we are assured our guests are happy, comfortable, relaxed, and certainly never hungry here at CGI! We are thrilled you enjoyed our bountiful breakfasts offered, and the fact that there is always seconds available!! The cleanliness and coziness of all our guest rooms and living areas are of utmost importance to us, and of course, there is always time for a board game to be played in our comfy living room! Thank you for all your smiles, and of course for taking a moment to let us know how much you enjoyed your stay with us. We will be honored to welcome you back "home" someday to CGI!

This B&B is wonderful. We came to this Inn over 11 years ago so coming back and seeing it again was great. The inn has so much charm and ambiance. The room was very relaxing clean and extremely comfortable. We cannot say enough about our hosts Andrea and Dave they were super! The breakfast was wonderful with warm homemade muffins, coffee and juice in the garden room enjoying the sun in the morning followed by yummy French toast with bacon or herb eggs.....fabulous :). This Inn is close to everywhere you want to go in Chatham.....we can't wait to back. Enjoy!

Thank you for taking a moment to reach out and let us know you indeed felt renewed after your visit here with us at CGI! Knowing you were here 11 years ago, we were so excited for you to arrive and see the beautiful transformation the Inn has gone through since your last visit. Just by the look on your face, we could tell how happy you were once you stepped through the front door! We love that you adored your bountiful breakfast as much as we love preparing it......french toast, eggs, muffins, scones, Chatham coffee, Chatham jellies, Chatham cheeses....it is our pleasure to give you "everything Chatham".....and more! We strive daily to ensure each of our guests "relearn what it means to relax".....here at Capt. Nickerson's manse! We are delighted you have booked another visit and look forward to seeing you in a few weeks!!

Even though Chatham is just a hop, skip, and a jump from the Boston area, we are thrilled to know that once you arrived here at CGI, you felt you were a world away, and were able to completely "get away", relax, and enjoy! It was so nice to get to meet you and of course it was our pleasure to help make your visit everything you expected, and more. We take pride in what we do.....we love what we do.....and it brings a smile to our faces knowing we will be welcoming back "home" to CGI again in a few weeks!

We were greeted by two of the warmest, kindest people-the innkeepers. The Inn was cozy, roomy and the common areas were delightful. We felt like we were in our own home. Andrea and Davis are so friendly, you feel as thought you've know them for a long time, but they don't "crowd" you. They give you the perfect amount of attention and are very receptive to your needs and likes. Were offered refreshements, cheese & crackers and upgrade to a beautiful room with a fireplacewhen we arrived. If the french toast is on the menu for the breakfast you HAVE to try it. It's a bit indulgent, but well worth the calories. This is one of the most immaculate Inns we've stayed at. Everything is updated and spotless. We had one of the rooms toward the back - it was extremely quiet. We will be back, we just hope they wont' be booked when we do return!

We just came back from a quick overnight at the CGI, and I recommend it highly. I believe we were the first guests under the new owner, who is warm and friendly, and although the B&B is beautiful already, I'm looking forward to returning to see how he personalizes the space as time goes on.

It was a quiet, odd weekend before the Holiday rush, and we were upgraded to a lovely room.

I had an exhausting week prior to the visit, so besides enjoying winter walks, dining and shopping in Chatham, we spent a lot of time just relaxing by the fire and enjoying our surroundings. The B&B is extremely clean and comfortable and I appreciated the high quality fixtures, bedding and towels. Natalie, the housekeeper, is absolutely lovely and makes a good breakfast too.

It was a wonderful, relaxing way to spend my birthday. Even though we stayed just one night, I came home rested and renewed. This is the kind of B&B that B&B lovers hope they've booked!

We are so thrilled you enjoyed your birthday getaway here at CGI, amidst the moving trucks and the hustle and bustle of furniture being moved, as this was our first night as new proprietors of CGI! It is always our hope that our guests are more than comfortalbe here at the beautiful Capt. Nickerson's manse, and it is our pleasure to do everything possible to be sure everyone who visits "relearns what it means to relax".....we thank you for taking time to write during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, but most of all, we are pleased your experience was just what you needed......and more! We look forward to welcoming "home" to CGI soon!

I immediately felt at home here during my recent stay over the Veterans Day Weekend.

Brian was a fine and gracious host - indeed, a veritable genie in a bottle: No sooner did I convey a wish than it was hospitably granted. Brian showed me and my wife around the town, made recommendations on where to shop, where to eat, and even introduced us to the local bookseller. (I'd expressed a strong interest in used books.)

The inn is on a quiet road, close to town and within walking distance if you enjoy a pleasant stroll.

The room was immaculate, well appointed, and the furnishings and decor were harmonious. The den with a fireplace was my favorite haunt over the weekend.

Nick served a delicious breakfast both mornings.

I heartily commend this inn without reservation and will be pleased to return in future travels.
