My job take me all over New England and NY and I must say that Four Seas is the best place for good old fashioned home made ice cream. Four Seas on any given day gives you a choice of some two dozen flavors of ice cream. They also have a good offering of yogurt and a great selection of toppings. Great place to stop with the kids anytime of the day. Great staff, highly recommend if you are near the Centerville/Hyannis area. Pete

We had lunch - one lobster sandwich on whole wheat with chips for $18.95 which was yummy without a lot of mayonnaise and a cream cheese and olive sandwich with chips. There weren't enough olives in the sandwich (only 2 slivers) so it was basically a cream cheese sandwich - which isn't very tasty. We enjoyed vanilla cokes with our lunch. For dessert my husband had a hot fudge sundae which we thoroughly enjoyed. I had a lime-raspberry sorbet cone which was terrible. Four Seas used to have a great raspberry only sorbet, but stopped selling it. I would not order the lime-raspberry sorbet again. For two basic sandwiches (yes, one was lobster), two sodas and two ice creams our bill was $50.00 which is pretty pricey. Four Seas is a classic and it's a must go to for any visit to Cape Cod, but it is casual with no frills. The atmosphere hasn't changed probably since it opened 80 years ago with slopping floors and all.

Thanks for visiting, glad you loved the 1/2 pound lobster sandwich(the lowest price for 1/2 pound sandwich on the Cape!). Sorry you didn't enjoy the raspberry lime sorbet; a couple years ago one of the raspberry ingredients was discontinued and every other had a different flavor profile. We didn't want to put out another raspberry with a different taste because we knew most people would compare them. However, if we changed to the Rasp-Lime, then it would be a nice break away. Would your vote be to go back to just raspberry sorbet or maybe raspberry -lemonade?
Thanks Doug and Peggy

I have lived here for a couple years but only recently found myself in 4C's, the famous ice cream parlor. An old building filled with memories and photos of all who have worked there, and the best ice cream around. Try the Lemon Crisp, plain vanilla (awesome), or a frappe of any flavor. They also have sandwiches if you are headed to the beach and want to take one along. Lines can be very long, but it is worth the wait for sure.

Delicious ice cream served by local high school and college students. Best for a summer evening out with the kids.
You might have to wait , but worth it.
