My husband and his family are ice cream lovers. We've been to Four Seas Ice Cream twice in three days. Don't let the line scare you away. They move customers along quickly, and it's worth the wait. Peppermint stick was my favorite. One thing to note is that it's CASH ONLY.

If you are expecting Cold Stone Creamery, of a fancy Italian Gelato - RUN the other way!
But, if you desire that old fashioned, homemade ice cream from your youth - this is the place!
Nothing fancy here - this is an old fashioned ice cream stand with lots of flavors of ice cream - made on the premises daily. The ice cream is excellent, though not cheap, but you pay for quality.
There are too many flavors to list, but all the regulars are served here, along with a few newer flavors mixed in each day. Black Rasberry and Coconut are two of my favorite flavors.
They also serve sundaes, shakes, and sherberts and even frozen yougurt (they even serve sandwiches here, although I have never ordered one)
This place has a rich history too. Back when JFK summered here, he would take Jackie and the kids here for ice cream.
One last thing, expect a rather long line - this place is popular - but it moves quickly. We've never waited more than 20 minutes.

This old fashioned Ice cream parlor won't disappoint! Too many delicious flavors to list. Our favorites are the butter crunch and the black raspberry! This is a must do every year when we visit the Cape! The lobster sandwich is the best I have ever had and is big enough to split, but why share when you can have your own! My daughters all love the cream cheese and olive sandwiches and the water that comes in nostalgic parlor cups! Just around the corner is The Country Store, another must do when we are on the Cape!

Hands down, the best ice cream in Barnstable! There is a reason this place is always packed!

My favorite order is a peppermint stick hot fudge sundae, but all their ice cream options are outstanding.
