Not so long ago I wrote a review of this hotel and gave it only 3 stars. Having stayed here an additional 16 nights since then I wanted to give an update. The hotel has new management. The last 2 times I have checked in it was noted I was as a Platinum member and the personnel was much more friendly than my past experiences. The bed linens seem to be in better shape than my past stays. If you do use the Conceirge Lounge you will notice improvements. As always Lisa, Kathy and Debbie are very friendly and make you feel welcome. There have been great improvements in the food served there. At breakfast in addition to the scrambled eggs and oatmeal that always was offered, they have added bacon or sausage along with hard boiled eggs, deli meats and cheeses. In the evening they also now offer pasta. As always room service has a great burger. The food in the Pub and in Summer Winter is very good also. Summer Winter will make you meal to go if you want to eat in your room. I can't speak to a previous poster's comments about banquet food. For the business traveler this is a good solid hotel. Especially since it has both an indoor and outdoor pool with a decent gym. I do wish that they would add another washer/dryer combo to the laundry room.

Attended a banquet catered by hotel. Had been to this same function many times but the food was the worst I've ever had anywhere. All at our table ( including the person in charge of the function!) had the same reaction. Earlier in the day had lunch in the pub and the food was fine but the service was horrible. I am a Marriott time share owner and was surprised at the poor quality.
I enquirer and learned that Marriott no longer owns the hotel having sold it to a much smaller entity just recently. Will never stay at this hotel again, nor will I attend another function there. I will lobby to have the function held elsewhere!

This is far and away my favourite Marriott hotel. This one is extra clean, rooms are a good size, even the shampoo/soap etc is nice. My one complaint is the internet service. I find it difficult to connect properly. You need to connect to the wireless, then go the internet and accept the charges however rarely does the internet connect to the necessary site. It can often take 5 or 6 tries to connect. Also, as an elite member internet is supposed to be included, however I have always had to have the front desk reverse the internet charges. A little frustrating, but still the best hotel in the Boston area.

There is something wrong with the customer service. I spent two days managing a conference and each time I asked for help it was like asking a ten year old to clean up their room...like I was putting them out of their way. Frustrating. Next year we will take our business to one of the many other choices nearby. Only shinning light was the restaurant Summer Winter.

We stayed here (family of 3) along with our family bff's for new years eve 2012-2013 and I have nothing but good to say about the hotel. Check in was quick and easy, we were all booked next door to each other as we requested, the rooms were clean but uninspired. The pool area was warm and cozy, including the hot tub and a sauna. The only reason that I didn't give a perfect review is that when we went to the Irish pub for dinner (with 4 kids between the 3 couples we didn't want to pay the Summer/Winter prices for the kids - plus, kind of an adult restaurant) the service started out ok but then ground to a complete halt. Once dinner was served the waitress disappeared. There was no option of ordering 'another round' before we FINALLY flagged her down to pay the bill! When we got the bill it was another 20 or so minutes before it was picked up. I really, really dislike that in a joint - especially with four very bored little boys that wanted to go back to the rooms to play. That being said, brunch was a hit the next morning. Everyone slept soundly, check out was a breeze.

Room Tip: The mini-suites are a great value! I would pay the extra few bucks

Not unlike most Marriotts (or any hotel) this is a nice hotel, but it can be noisy. This hotel typically hosts a lot of business conventions/meetings, which means plenty of drinking, which can lead to inconsiderate guests returning to their rooms late at night, having loud conversations in the hallways, or both. The hotel itself is nice, and the staff is extremely good, it's the guests I have the problem with.

My wife and I stayed at this property in mid December of 2012. We were on a vacation to visit friends and family. We found the following to be noteworthy:

-This property is excellent quality and value for money; we paid $98 per night and this was near Christmas time.
-We note that the site is near the Burlington Mall and right off of route 95. Despite the proximity to the mall, the hotel is in a secluded area (greatly recessed from the street) and is quiet.
-The rooms were on the quality level of a strong Hilton or Marriott. The size of the room was ample (without being something to boast about). Fixtures were modern, functional, and attractive.
-Our room was quiet, noting it was a long walk from the elevator (our room # was 559).
-We enjoyed the exercise room, which included a small indoor pool and jacuzzi, a fitness room, and a separate weight room. The staff member at the fitness room was helpful.
-We did eat breakfast at the hotel's cafe; the breakfast buffet was outstanding and price was fair (perhaps $14 per head before tax, tip, or beverage).
-There is a small business center which had numerous computers and printers.
-All in all, this is a high quality property at a very competitive rate given it is in the Boston area (approximately 15 miles north of Boston).

Room Tip: We were in room 559 - the positive was it was quiet while the negative was it was a long walk from t...
