This is the classic Italian American restaurant. If you are American you might like it, if you are Italian you won't..... Big portions, a lot, and I mean a lot of sauce in all the pasta dishes, and even a lot of oil in the vegetables, I mean broccoli swimming in oil, and is not olive oil.... There are much better restaurants in brimfield, I guarantee you....

We went on our own a few years ago and it was super busy, so we barely got any attention from our waitress. The food was ok. Friends love it here and we have had their party pizza, again, it is ok.

Greta pizzas and good italian food for a local restuarant. Drinks are dirt cheap but not a wide selection. Staff is always freiendly.

Had not been to Francescos in a while- and had a craving for Italian food. Although there was a constant stream of guests, there seemed to be enough servers. We were seated without delay, but waited a while for our server to approach. There were other servers tending to tables around us- but no one indicated we would be taken care of soon. When our server arrived, we placed the order and beverages and soup/salad arrived quickly. The soup was tasty, although clearly made with leftover vegetables that could have used a chopping- they were large to eat off a soup spoon, and it is difficult to cut in a soup cup! We both ordered pasta dishes= the meatballs were tasty, the scallops were very bland. Couldn't taste anything, even though they were supposed to be sauteed. The red sauce was ok- kind of thin, but that may have been because the pasta needed better draining. Although the scallops were on the menu as served with linguini- it was served on spaghetti. Our server checked to see if we wanted dessert and then brought the check. She seemed to take forever to come back for payment, and ended up sending someone else with the charge slip. Not really sure what was going on- she was busy, but how long does it take to take payment! Anyway- it was an ok meal, I think I had more fond memories of past meals here.

From the outside it doesn't look like much, but the inside is nice, homey, and pretty popular. we went there at 4pm and there were several other families in there. Our waitress "georgie" as she referred to herself was so professional and had such a nice way of carrying herself that it was like we were being served in an classy restaurant in some city somewhere. Thumbs up!!
