We were staying at the Sea Meadow Inn...all 7 rooms..and needed dinner the first night of our stay. We ordered take outand was not disappointed. The flautas were very good and the Costa Rica was huge and tasty. The chicken salad was enough for me and my sister to share and not feel hungray afterwards. Everyone enjoyed their dinner...Thank you.

We dropped in on Guapo's for a last minute dinner before a concert. It was 7pm on a Monday night and the place was MOBBED. It was the first night on the job for the young woman serving as maitre'd, and she couldn't really cope. but the line moved pretty quickly anyway. we only had time to gulp our food down at the bar, but every bit of it -- a chicken quesadilla, a beef taco and fish taco -- was truly outstanding. We will return many times and hope to have a more relaxing time at a table. The atmosphere was great (pleasantly full of activity but no huge noise). Fine Mexican addition on the Cape!

Formal: No. Serious: No. Upscale: No. Dress-to-impress date or important business lunch: Don't even think of it.
But if you're in a laidback mood & can adapt, this is a super little spot for lunch or dinner. Picnic tables outside, two or three ultra-tiny seats inside. Super-informal ordering system, kitschy decor, tasty & fresh fish tacos .... and they serve an outstanding pork taco, too. IBC sodas (the opener is mounted on the wall).
This is a "grab a handful of paper napkins, and don't forget to pick up the plastic utensils while you're there" kind of atmosphere. But the food is great, the staff is cheery and friendly if you are. Great place to stop if you've just enjoyed around at Harbor Lights mini-golf.

Last week we went for dinner and were disappointed that they are no longer serving mojitos! And the chalkboard and toys for the kids weren't there anymore!
Two summers ago, we dined there three nights in a row because it was a family friendly place for the parents to enjoy a drink and good foot while the kids were occupied.
Last week? I had to bounce my toddler on my hip while I tried to have a taco and a Corona. The experience didn't leave a good impression. The food isn't so great that the loss of "entertainment" can be forgiven.

We wanted Mexican food and came across this funky-looking place. However, we thought it was too crowded and noisy for a couple, and we didn't care for the family seating, so we got our food to take out.

Back at our hotel, we ate by the pool as the sun set. Much more romantic.

The fish tacos were very tasty, and the Guapo's Burro was a stomach-filler. We liked the salsa a lot, and the chips were crisp enough. All in all, pretty good for a Mexican restaurant on Cape Cod.
