My husband and I recently stayed at the Old Manse Inn in Brewster, Massachusetts. The inn is conveniently located on a picturesque section of Rt. 6 in Brewster, near the General Store and less than 1/2 mile from beautiful Breakwater Beach. The innkeepers, Karen and Rich, are very hospitable and go out of their way to make their guests feel comfortable and enjoy their stay. Even Maggie, the innkeeper's Portuguese Water dog, greets guests warmly when they arrive. The inn is immaculately maintained, very clean and attractively decorated with antiques and historical artifacts. Karen prepares delicious breakfasts each morning and bakes cookies and treats every afternoon. The inn has all of the qualities of a Select Registry Inn without the inflated rates. I would highly recommend the Old Manse Inn for a relaxing, enjoyable Cape Cod retreat.

We recently stayed at the Old Manse Inn for our annual Cape Cod vacation. The grounds, room, food and hospitality exceeded our expectations. The innkeepers, Karen and Rich, are warm, welcoming and provide guests with everything one could possibly need or want for a stay at the Cape, i.e beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, bikes, helmets, water bottles, etc. Breakfasts were delicious, unusual and varied. Our room and the common areas were beautifully furnished, comfortable and immaculate. The inn's location was ideal - a short distance from the Cape Cod Rail (bike) Trail and a gorgeous Bay beach. In short, it was perfect!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Admiral Suite, which was large and luxurious, with a private deck, king sized bed a...

Everything about our stay at the Old Manse Inn was impressive. We loved the historic home and meticulously kept rooms, common areas, and grounds. We also appreciated the special touches, such as fresh lemonade and home-made baked goods every afternoon. The breakfasts were delicious and different every day. Want to go on a bike ride? Bikes are complimentary along with helmets and water bottles. To the beach? Take some of the inn's beach chairs and towels. The quiet welcoming way of the hosts and staff makes this a special place to stay where we'd be happy to return any time.

Exceptionally clean. Great location. Great hospitality. The Inn is located within a short drive of all of the other towns on the Cape and is near the beach and bike trails, as well as many restaurants and shopping. Everything about the place was excellent, especially the breakfasts. Each day's breakfast was different. The grounds of the Inn are well kept and nicely landscaped with chairs and tables placed around the property to enjoy. This Inn is better than the some of the best hotels. There is not a bad thing to say about this Inn. The Innkeeper has great knowledge of the area and will suggest restaurants and day trips, if asked. Would recommend this Inn to anyone coming to the Cape for its location, high level of hospitality (being called by your first name is a nice effect), and cleanliness. I also suggest making reservations by phone or directly through their website http://www.oldmanseinn.com as information on availability is better than the travel websites The Old Manse Inn will be our choice the next time we visit Cape Cod.

My wife and I had a pleasant stay at this property. There are many components needed to make a fine B&B establishment. Both Karen and Rich showed their capability to provide the customer with a pleasant experience. Upon arriving we were warmly greeted and shown the premises. The amenities available were impressive and well-tailored to visitors' needs for a memorable stay on the Cape. Bikes, beach chairs, towels, umbrellas. Games and newspapers on site to name a few.
Breakfast was delicious. There were some creative combinations and some ordinary offerings.
Every room is different. But we were satisfied with our standard room 7. The bathroom was a little on the small side but the bedding and linens were great. Overall, a very good experience with some new memories to bring home.

Thank you for your feed back and we are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. When guests book rooms with us through outside booking agents (ex: Expedia) it is often difficult to know what each guests personal needs or desires are. We love the opportunity to chat with our guests by phone prior to their arrival to match them with the perfect room. All our rooms are different and unique. We are glad we could be a part of making fond memories

My fiance and I chose the Old Manse Inn in Brewster specifically because of the outstanding reviews and personal touch that was flagged online. We expected excellent customer service but Karen and Rich's care, kindness, approach and service was far better than we ever could have imagined. We travelled to Brewster from Ireland to get married (just the two of us) and indicated this when booking. Karen helped us with so much, I emailed Karen a lot looking for recommendations for restaurants, a Minister, a photographer, flowers etc and she was so helpful at all times. On the day of our wedding Karen was on hand to do the 'mother of the bride - type' duties, she drove me to the beach and attended our wedding, they treated us to a bottle of bubby in a champagne bucket and a beauitiful cake, they were on-hand with support and kindness at all times. People reading this may think I am exaggerating but Karen and Rich's kindness was unbelievable. The inn itself far exceeded our expectations and was more of a 5 star hotel by Irish standards but with the attention to detail and personal touch. There are beautiful Old manse robes in each room, crystal bottles of sherry and port available for consumption and we had a 4-poster bed that you would never want to leave. The breakfasts were beautiful and there was a different surprise every morning. I would really recommend Old Manse in Brewster if you want to get married in Cape Cod. We will return to Old Manse for our anniversay in the future and will be very happy to meet karen, Rich and Maggie again. We will never forget you guys. Youmade our wedding the most special day. Thank you so much from our hearts. Lorraine & Ger x

My husband and I recently stayed at the Old Manse Inn for the fourth time, and were pleased that the high level of perfect hospitality by innkeepers Karen and Rich Keever has not wavered one bit. We were warmly welcomed by Rich, as if we were old friends, and were delighted to discover that Karen had upgraded our room in honor of our anniversary. Our stay in the spacious and beautiful Admiral Suite, with king-sized bed, large flat-screen tv, large dressing room, and huge bath with jacuzzi was wonderful, as always. The suite also has an in-room coffee maker, a small refrigerator, and French doors that lead to a private deck. Breakfasts at the Inn are superb and so beautifully presented. While Karen was busy cooking in the kitchen, Rich greeted us each morning with freshly-squeezed orange juice and a pot of coffee, which was followed by a colorful and delicious fresh fruit dish. Entrees included fruit-topped waffles and bacon, a breakfast burrito with cheese sauce, salsa, and sausage, scrambled eggs and sausage with a homemade cranberry muffin, pancakes and bacon with real maple syrup, and a breakfast fajita with sausage, and toast. Each day's breakfast was different, and was served on decorative plates with colorful garnish. Karen and Rich make a point of having a conversation with each of their guests every day, and go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. In addition to the room amenities, there are also bicycles, beach chairs, and beach towels available for use. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and offer many areas to sit and relax. Inside the main house, games are set up in the "game room," and there is a beautifully furnished "living room" where guests can relax. Karen and Rich are more than happy to recommend restaurants (they also have menus to look over) or other sights and activities on the Cape. The Inn is conveniently located in Brewster, just a short walk from the Brewster General Store and the Brewster Scoop (delicious ice cream). Beaches and fine restaurants are just a short drive away. Throughout our five-night stay, we felt like we were "at home," and when we checked out, we were sent on our way with hugs and best wishes. The Old Manse Inn is simply a heavenly place to relax and enjoy all the wonderful touches Karen and Rich offer. Check out their website: http://www.oldmanseinn.com/ (Making reservations directly through the website is quite easy!) If you're looking for an outstanding B & B on Cape Cod, the Old Manse Inn is the one! I know we'll be going back again.

It is always a pleasure to see our return guests. Yes, they often do feel like family returning. We do have high standards and attempt to keep our inn and the grounds in tip top condition while offering many modern amenities. We are happy you enjoyed our breakfasts. It's the part of innkeeping I think we like best. Other than spending time with quests like yourself. Thank you for continuing to return and for a fantastic review. Your photos were great. See you again soon.
