Our first visit to Cape Cod, travelliong with Friends who had visited both the Cape and the Inn before. We loved this beautiful old Inn and the lovely furnishings and of course its history. We had a very comfortable bedroom and all our needs were catered for. Karen and Rich were perfect hosts and Karen's breakfasts were quite delicious with a different menu each morning. Maggie their lovely docile dog was an added bonus for us to see on occasions as we own a dog ourselves. This Inn is well located to visit most parts of the Cape. We would love to visit again.

Don't bother looking for anywhere else to stay in this part of Cape Cod or indeed, anywhere else on the Cape. Everything about The Old Manse is pretty near perfect. First the hosts; Karen & Rich are superb and can be summed up by their actual words to us - "this is your home for the time of your stay". Bedrooms are exactly as you would want an old inn to be (forget about the small bathrooms - who spends all day in there!), breakfasts are a three course gourmet start to the day, lounge and 'games room' are lovely places to relax and enjoy tea/coffee, home baked goodies and evening sherry or port. One of our favourite places to stay in the world - and we're very lucky to have been to a lot of places. Very few get the full 5 stars from us.

My husband and I recently spent a week at the Old Manse Inn in Brewster. This Inn is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the Captains Room on the second floor. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast prepared each morning by Karen was absolutely delicious. What made this stay so memorable was the warm hospitality shown to us by Rich and Karen, the Innkeepers. They made us feel right at home. When we return to Cape Cod, this is the Inn where we will stay. Just loved it.

Recently we enjoyed our first stay at the Old Manse Inn in Brewster. It was immediately obvious to us that Rich and Karen, the gracious and welcoming owners/innkeepers, meticulously maintain every aspect of the inn and property. The sea captain's history of the house was fascinating along with all of the ship models plus paintings and prints of ships and related items that were displayed throughout the inn. We stayed in the third floor Blue Room which offered us spacious, charming and quiet comfort for the night and the next morning we were served a most delicious and colorful breakfast in the light filled breakfast room. We were very pleased with our stay and found this peaceful and lovely inn to be one to which we hope to return and are happy to recommend to others.

Room Tip: It was an easy walk up to the third floor Blue Room which was A/C cooled, quiet and private.

A lot of inns and B&B's to choose from on the Cape, let alone Brewster. The Old Manse Inn has a good location for exploring the eastern part of the Cape. Rich is very helpful and the Inn provides bikes and beach gear. We stayed in the Vineyard Room which was relatively new and very nice. I would not bring kids here, but for everyone else I would definitely recommend the Old Manse Inn.

My husband and I stayed at the Old Manse Inn in Brester. While my husband might say I am a bit picky, it's just because I am a frequent business traveler and have a level of expectations. I compared this Inn online to many others and felt it was a great value for the price and location. Much less congested area than the surrounding areas, no question about quality, cleanliness (like reviews of many other hotels at the same prices) and includes a fabulous gourmet breakfast. The Inn did not disappoint! The homemade breakfast was wonderful... and feel free to state any dietary restrictions/suggestions you have. There were several folks there when we stayed who altered the menu (couldn't eat eggs, didn't like pancakes, etc.). Upon arrival you are greeted by the Inn Keeper and Maggie, the Inn greeter (aka, pup). A great tour and details about the Inn and the area were provided. Should you need recommendations, they are there to make suggestions. Our room was wonderful, with it's flat screen t.v. for my husband, and decorated nicely and very clean for me. The Inn is beautifully landscaped and maintained. Should you have a rainy day, their game room and porch are at your avail. They also have bikes and beach chairs, coolers, towels at your disposal as well as suggestions as to beach/parking locations. We were sad to leave. We will definitely be back! BTW: We walked to a local restaurant (Brester Chowder House) at Rich's suggestion, then went to the Woodshed next door to watch a local band at night (they have bands 7 days/week)... wonderful! Just a block away and within walking distance if you like).

Upon arrival at the Old Manse Inn on Cape Cod in centrally located Brewster, you will be greeted by the proprietors, Rich or Karen, and probably their lovable dog Maggie. Rich and Karen spare no expense in maintenance, landscaping, decorating, nor in food preparation. The Inn is warm and comfortable and is conveniently located to beaches, restaurants, lakes (aka ponds), bike trails, tennis courts, and historic villages. The Inn even has high quality 21 speed bicycles for guest use.
Cape Cod is probably the best place for summer fun on the east coast and the Old Manse Inn makes a vacation even more enjoyable and memorable.
