We spent two nights with our daughter, her wedding party, and friends and relatives. We've stayed at a number of B&Bs and found them to be clean and attractive, but Isaiah Clark is a step beyond that - a lovely old house, meticulously maintained, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated. The rooms were comfortable and the common areas provided intimate settings to visit with friends and family.

Philomena's breakfasts were delicious, and she and Steve did everything we could have asked - and more - to make our daughter's special weekend perfect. Just one example: Our stay coincided with the "Brew Run" in Brewster, a local event that ties up traffic along Route 6A. Right after checking in, we had to drive up 6A to the rehearsal dinner. Even though Steve was busy checking in twelve people at the same time and graciously showing each of us to our rooms, he had the presence of mind to give me a map and advice on how to get around the traffic.

Having the wedding party stay at Isaiah Clark turned out to be one of the best decisions we made as we planned our daughter's wedding.

The Isaiah Clark B&B was the first B&B my fiancee and I have stayed at... and what an exquisite time we had! Steve and Philomena were friendly and such great hosts; Steve was full of information of what there was to do in Cape Cod. We stayed at the room called Phoebe that had a beautiful canopy bed. We stayed for two nights and ate their delicious breakfast cooked by Philomena. We would recommend this B&B to everyone and would surely return!

The Isiah Clark House is in a very quiet residential neighborhood in the lovely town of Brewster, MA. We had a very nice bedroom with our own bathroom directly across from the door of our room. The sign said the bathroom was to be used by our room only and sure enough, it was. The room was large enough with the bed being extremely comfortable. We slept well. The bathroom was very large with a large bathtub/ shower. It also had a sitting area for makeup. The grounds of the Inn are quite nice. They have 2 other buildings on the property that are used by the owners. The grounds of the property is well taken care of and is a lovely place to read a couple of chapters of your favorite book. There is enough room for parking as well. The Inn is very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are very very good as they are prepared by Philomena and served by Steve to your table on the deck in the backyard overlooking a very nice wooded area in good weather. Most of the other Inns I have stayed serve their breakfast buffet style with all you can eat. I like the idea of being served individually but you're never sure if seconds are available. Suffice it to say that the breakfasts are rather filling. Great coffee, by the way. One thing I wasn't too happy about was that they served breakfast between 8:15am-9:15am. Most Inn's start at 9:00am for breakfast so be prepared to be an early riser. That's OK by me but I had to make multiple trips to get my wife out of bed. The positive about an early breakfast is that it motivates you to play tourist in Cape Cod since you are already up. That played to our advantage since we went to P-Town and Martha's Vinyard for 2 day trips. Steve has the knowledge of some of the better restaurants in the area. Don't miss the Brewster Fish House which is very good as it was recommended by Steve. Overall, I would be happy to stay again with Steve and Philomena at the Isiah Clark House.

Steve and Philomena have done an outstanding job restoring and decorating the house. We cannot think of one small detail that they have overlooked in making every guest feel special.

My wife and I stayed at the Isiah Clark House for an all-too-short stay of two nights. If circumstances had allowed we would have stayed longer, and will certainly be returning in the future.

We have been coming to the Cape for many years, and have struck out multiple times with B&B's in the area. Generally, we find these places to be overpriced, look nothing like they do on the website, and lack inkeeper(s) who have mastered the fine art of being a good host without getting in your way.

We selected the the Isiah Clark house after doing some research online, and were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The pictures on the website do not do this place justice. First of all, the grounds and house are meticulously maintained. The house has an old time feel, but has been maintained and upgraded in a away that adds comfort without detracting from it's traditional charm. The main innkeeper is a warm, genuinely funny, person who really sets the tone when you arrive. Our room was nice and cozy, with a very large private bath. To top it off, this house has central a/c. Given the hot and humid summer we have been having, this made all the difference in the world. And of course, I'd be remiss without mentioning the food. the breakfast quality was absolutely top notch. This was legitimately high-end restaurant quality food, not someone tossing a few egos in the toaster and calling it a day.

My wife and I did not want to leave when the time came. We are already looking forward to a visit next summer!

The Inn has been updated and redecorated. The grounds are peaceful and pleasing. Shopping and the beach are nearby. Great bike path and nature hikes within a mile. Once you're there - you won't want to leave.

The Isaiah Clark House is a perfect blend of history and comfort. Our room (Deborah), with its king-size bed, was cozy and comfortable. The private bathroom (two steps across the hall) was large and perfectly appointed. We loved the old feeling of the house while appreciating the modern amenities. Philomena's breakfasts were scrumptious. Steve was very accommodating. They even supply beach chairs. All in all, a a great spot for a few days on "the quiet side" of the Cape.
