My husband bought me this trip from living social and I couldn't have been more pleased. It was for Valentine's Day but we had to go in April. The Inn is absolutely beautiful, the help was friendly and accomidating, the rooms were comfortable and welcoming and breakfast was delicious. We are going back for the cooking class weekend. We would highly reccomend it!

Room Tip: We stayed in The Mashpee and it was a beautiful room but if you stay there make sure you have ear pl...

What a lovely stay we had at Captain Freeman's Inn. Our room was so comfortable and has a great whirlpool tub that you watch the sunset from. Breakfast made our day start off perfect, and the cookies left out throughout the day always made for a great snack. We look forward to returning to the inn and the welcoming staff who were always there with great suggestion on places for us to visit.

My Mom, Sister, and I stayed here for a Girls' Weekend in March. We were in the Eastham room which has a king bed and a pull-out bed, a wood-burning fireplace, an electric fireplace and an adorable porch. It is a wonderful old, quaint building that the owners have put much time and TLC into. We were delighted with our stay. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfasts and baked goods were superb, and the selection of beverages (coffees, teas, sherry, and port) available at all ours was generous and enjoyable. We enjoyed reading on the porch, walking down to the lovely beach, and a long bike ride on the bike path. It is walking distance to some Brewster restaurants and the general store in a location that both feels convenient and close to amenities while also quiet and peaceful. The innkeepers were so warm and welcoming and were really attentive to anything we might need and eager to help. Their son, Nathan, was also very kind and enthusiastic and very promptly printed out some directions for us when we inquired about an outing. Everyone there was so friendly. Highly recommended!

We used a Living Social deal to visit this gem on a quiet weekend in March. It's a little small to call an inn, but more than a B&B. For example, the breakfast was made fresh to order with one or two choices each morning...and very good food that included very ripe and deliscious honeydew melon one morning an fresh pineapple the next. There were so many nice little touches from 'round the clock teas, Keurig coffees, homemade cookies, port, sherry, etc. There was even a copy of a very good guidebook to the Cape in our room which we did make good use of while we were there. We had an electric fireplace (which we did use to take the chill out of the air at night rather than turn up our thermostat), a flat panel TV, an iPod dock/radio, and free wifi. Our bed was very comfortable. The Living Social deal included a spa credit which we used at the sister property and thoroughly enjoyed. It's an easy walk to the beach, which we enjoyed and the property seems in concert with the nearby general store and overall charm of the area. The Inn is right off 6A, but pretty quiet being tucked behind the Brewster General Store. It's easy to find and very centrally located near 124 and 137.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Yarmouth room which had been renovated over the winter. It was at the top of the s...

Our weekend at the CFI was a Christmas gift and we'll have a hard time finding a way to reciprocate that thoughtfulness! It included the cooking school, which was very informative, and delicious. The property is beautifully maintained and decorated, and the innkeepers, Byron, Donna and Nathan, are incredibly focused on providing a wonderful experience. Breakfasts were lovely - fresh fruit and a different entree every day - and the cooking school dinner was superb. Their recommendations for local restaurants are spot-on, as well. We're definitely considering returning in the future.

I surprised my husband this past weekend with a 2 night stay at The Capt. I purchased a deal on livingsocial and it was a tremendous value. I had not read any reviews prior to our visit so I was more than pleasantly pleased with what we found. The owners son Nathan greeted us upon our arrival and gave us a tour of the beautifully decorated first floor. the self serve area was a great idea, with fresh drinks, cookies and single serve coffee available at all hours. Also had a wonderful assortment of teas available. We were then led to our room, The Dennis, which had been recently renovated. It was outstanding. The bathroom was lovely with a fabulous whirlpool tub, although only big enough for one person. The electric fireplace was very nice and the bed.....was the best bed I have ever slept in! It was so comfortable in fact that my husband didn't snore for the first night in 18yrs! Considering buying the same bed! The breakfast each morning was delicious, and the cook was very accomodating to guests who were, shall we say, a little picky. We enjoyed everything they prepared just the way it was on the menu. We did not attend the cooking school Sat night, which smelled AMAZING, and sounded like alot of fun. We did however enjoy a lovely table at Bucca's that was reserved for us by Donna and it was so romantic. The food was quite possibly the best meal we have ever eaten. Also enjoyed delicious fish chowder at the Brewster Fish House upon Nathan's reccomendation. Had dinner at The Starvin Marlin on Friday night as well, perfect fish taco's! All in all, the weekend was probably the best weekend away we have ever taken. We have stayed at a handful of B&B's around New England and this one by far was our favorite. Can't wait to go back! Oh and the couples massage at their sister property was a fantastic treat. Beautifully done Donna, Byron and Nathan. Many thanks to the CFI staff as well.

Room Tip: Dennis-gorgeous! and so comfortable to sleep. will prob try other rooms on our next stays but will d...

My husband and I stumbled upon Captain Freeman Inn thanks to a LivingSocial deal. This was our first time to experience a Bed and Breakfast and we were extremely pleased! The staff is very friendly and helpful. We visited during the quiet season, so it was just that -quiet (which was VERY nice!). We also happened to pick very nice days to visit because the weather was unseasonably warm!! The inn was very unique and nicely decorated. We stayed in the Dennis room. Its bathroom was recently updated and I LOVED the bathtub! I highly recommend this inn and my husband and I will definitely look into booking with them again when we visit the Cape again.
