We just returned from a long weekend on Cape Cod. After searching the internet for suggested places to stay, we opted for Brewster By the Sea. We were certainly not disappointed. Donna and Byron, the inn keepers, couldn't have been more accommodating and hospitable. They provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing on the Cape. The accommodations were lovely. Our room and bathroom were quite large and well appointed. We loved the nice touches, including water, coffee, tea, and cookies available at any time, sherry in the evening, and delicious chocolate truffles placed on our pillow at night. The 3 course breakfasts were outstanding and very gourmet. The grounds are well kept with a beautiful pool and gardens. We highly recommend this B&B and will definitely return the next time we travel to Cape Cod.

We were visiting family over Easter and were looking for something close. Brewster by the sea was the next town over, and by the website, looked like a beautiful accommodation. We we very pleased to see our fireplace, whirlpool tub & king size bed and such lovely appointments in the room. The bed linens were luxurious! We were also "wowed" by the gourmet breakfast, nothing ordinary about this place. We travel to the Cape a couple times a year - and this will be our new destination. Donna & Byron were gracious hosts, and the extra amenities like the toiletries & coffee/water refreshment area really added up. We really enjoyed our stay, our room & our breakfast! WeI wish we had stayed longer so we could have taken advantage of the spa treatments offered!

Our Family travelled to Brewster over Spring break, and spent 2 wonderful days and nights at this wonderful bed and breakfast.

I was concerned a bit about taking our 15 year old to a bed and breakfast, those concerns were erased immediately upon our arrival. Byron and Donna made our son feel completely welcome and comfortable. We stayed in the Refugio suite and is was absolutely fabulous. It was quiet, and welcoming, the perfect place for our family. The food was great, and again, each morning Donna and Byron gave our son a little extra for a growing boy. Their recommendations on activities and restaurants were always right on. The beds were comfortable and swallowed us each night for a great nights sleep! We loved the turndown service and truffles placed on our beds each night.

The tea and coffee that were self-serve is so convienent, the afternoon cookies in the parlor was a nice break. For all of you that love homemade raspberry jam, it was the best!

We just can't say enough about this beautiful inn. We all agreed we will be back and this time for a longer stay.

Byron and Donna, Thank you for making us feel so comfortable. You both have done a fabulous job.

Hi all,
Just wanted to share a great experience we had this past weekend. My husband and I love the cape and we love bed and breakfasts, so have much to compare this place to. From the moment we stepped into their lovely Inn, we were in heaven. Donna and Byron, the innkeepers, immediately welcome you with a tour and a review of your amenities. We signed up for the romantic getaway package, which included a couples massage, champagne in the room, roses, chocolate covered fruits, full breakfasts each morning, bed turndown with truffles..sherry outside our door...and so on. Donna and Byron were delightful to talk to and they were quick to share places to visit, eat, etc. Our room was amazing...included a whirlpool, gas fireplace and lovely antique decor. The Inn also offers a full swimming pool, hottub, tranquil sitting spots here and there and little treats to eat everytime we turned around. So much fun...and very very romantic. We are already planning a summer visit. The thing is, we like to try different B&Bs, but this one was so unique with all the little extras, that we'll be back once or twice a year. Location was great, too, by the way...can walk to beach, biking nearby, antique shops everywhere...the quieter side of the cape..Sigh. Enjoy!

My daughter and I just returned from our trip to Cape Cod. We booked this Inn from their website and found it to be everything we anticipated and even more. We spent 3 nights in the Garden Room which was beautifully appointed as were all of the rooms. Since we arrived mid-week in the off season we were able to view all of the rooms in the Inn before the other guests started pouring in the next day. We felt so fortunate to have made this choice.

Our Innkeepers are delightful people who really love what they are doing. I felt they must have been seasoned travelers themselves who have spent a lot of time and planning to provide for every amenity you can imagine and then some.

When the website stated breakfast was "Gourmet" I thought doubtfully, "...sure.... it is" but when breakfast came out each day what a delight to the senses. Byron comes out and offers the juice and their house specialty "Brewster Sunrise" which is a Tequila Sunrise without the alcohol. You are seated in a cozy yet very large beautiful room with a grand piano, and beautiful furnishings. The breakfast comes with a fruit plate with excellent presentation followed by a hearty entree which is different each day of the 3 days we were there.
Try Donna's cranberry pancakes because they are simply to die for with warm syrup and crispy bacon or her Grandmother's recipes for egg dishes. Each day tea and coffee along with simply to die for - homemade cookies are served. The attention to detail is amazing. Lavender pillow spray, big pottery coffee mugs, a variety of books in your room. The beds are wonderful with feather tops and gorgeous Toile bedcovers with matching curtains. Two large comfy wingback chairs that match the Toile. A nice size TV with loads of channels, a gas fireplace. It was wonderful and we slept like babies! I'm going back as soon as I can with my husband for a romantic getaway. I've stayed in some of the finest hotels across the country but this experience was by far the best.
