We stayed for 4 nights in May. Donna and Byron provided lovely hospitality in a quiet setting at their beautifully furnished home and garden in Brewster in Cape Cod. Exactly what we were hoping for in our first visit to this area of USA.
We stayed in the Garden Room, large and quiet , and opening on to the garden.
Breakfasts were tailored to our dietary needs and were different every day. Our hosts were extremely helpful, recommending and arranging restaurants , and helped us celebrate our anniversary in style.
Thankyou so much.

Our visit was exactly what we needed. Donna and Bryon were so very friendly and welcoming! We totally enjoyed the "green concept" of the inn. The breakfasts were wonderful and their advice on restaurants couldn't have been better, Donna even made dinner reservations for us! The room was warm and comforting - love having a fireplace and relaxing music. We scheduled a couple massage at the inn, it was a nice surprise to arrive to our room the night prior and finding thick warm robes and slippers waiting for us. The massage was wonderful, how nice to relax at the inn after. The gift bag before we left was wonderful....we have placed our cookies in the freezer waiting to take our special picture to post. Bryon wished our son his best wishes on his recent deployment, he gave us some extra cookies to send to him - wonder where in the world these cookies will go. We would certainly go back..and hope to next year!

Donna and Byron were wonderful innkeepers and so helpful! They showed us the way to the best restaurants, like the Brewster Fishhouse. Amazing food there! Definitely listen to your innkeepers advice. Pet labradoodle Harrison was super cute as well. Such a friendly pooch.

The inn itself was clean, charming, and wonderfully decorated. Loved both of our rooms that we stayed in. Especially the Acorn-it was very private and comfortable and detached from the rest of the house. Really enjoyed the quiet and privacy. The great flower and truffles that we got on entering our room on arrival was a treat as well. So inviting!

Weather in early June was a little too cool to use the swimming pool but my husband and I enjoyed stargazing and drinking wine from the hot tub in the evenings. Landscaping was very well done and I especially liked the screened in gazebo.

Breakfast was awesome- each course was excellent and Byron was a great waiter. Of course I had to purchase the coffee cup we used each morning made by Deneen pottery as I always do at each bed and breakfast I go to.

Massachusetts in general was a wonderful vacation and Brewster is a place untouched by time. Such a peaceful town. I would absolutely recommend Brewster by the sea to anyone. I cannot wait to go back!

On a recent trip to the Cape we stayed for the first time at Brewster By The Sea, in their Refugio Suite. The Suite is spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated, very clean and consists of a large room (with a sofa, chair, fireplace and flat screen TV) along with the bedroom (with a king-size bed, desk, and another flat screen TV), bathroom (with a shower/tub combo), small area with a sink, refrigerator, and microwave, and a private patio overlooking beautifully landscaped gardens. The pictures on their website accurately reflect the Suite and we had an extremely relaxing and enjoyable time here.

From the beginning of our stay, Bryon and Donna were gracious hosts who were willing to help with our luggage, make suggestions for activities and restaurants, or offer assistance however it was needed. We had the chance to talk with at least one of them every day, especially at breakfast. The meals we had to start our days were all delicious and filling (such as a frittata, blueberry pancakes, or an egg sandwich), but some were absolutely inspired creations (such as the creme brulee oatmeal).

The B&B itself is located along 6A and is very close to the Lemon Tree Village Shops, Paine's Creek, the Grist Mill and other areas of interest in Brewster. Since we were not visiting during the summer with all the traffic, travel to surrounding towns, including Chatham, was an easy drive. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone interested in experiencing Brewster and all the best things it has to offer.

Donna and Byron have created a lovely B&B. I have stayed there twice (January 2012; May 2013) with two friends of many years, each occasion planned as a chance to get together and relax. We could not have found a better place. We stayed in two different suites: Refugio in the Orchard House building and Belle in the main building. Each was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and entirely roomy enough for 3 people. Both have fireplaces -- particularly nice in January but also on cooler spring nights. On our most recent visit, we were able to enjoy the beautiful gardens and the hot tub. Breakfasts are excellent -- great food, nicely presented without being unduly fussy. The seating is such that you can be part of a larger group if you want to, but you can also just be a couple if you'd prefer. Donna also has wonderful cookies available all day as well as coffee and other beverages. If you want to try the recipes at home, there's a cookbook! The innkeepers also know the local restaurants well and direct guests to terrific places for lunch or dinner. My friends and I also took advantage of the spa services for massages and facials done really well. The location is great too: the beach is short walk away as are several antiques shops, craft shops etc. We'll be back!

Room Tip: Since we were three women sharing, we booked a suite each time we visited. Both suites accommodated...

We have stayed many times at Donna and Byron's fabulous B &B. This year we had three nights We are always so welcomed and looked after. One of us has celiac disease and Donna makes sure a superb breakfast without gluten is created each day of our stay. And on top of that she makes gluten free cookies for the afternoon. The property is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, BBTS is quiet. Donna arranged massages for us at the B&B- wonderful! Donna and Byron give great restaurant recommendations and of course, make reservations too. It is so difficult to leave such a heavenly getaway! And Harrison (the dog) is sweet and gentle. Each visit we feel like we have reconnected with old friends. Of course, we look forward to another mini-vacation at BBTS.
