“Old-fashioned Italian, done well”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

We wanted a quick pre-theater meal and this was convenient. Everything we had was good. The menu is old-fashioned Italian, familiar dishes, unadventurous, really sort of comfort food. All done right. And the prices were old-fashioned too, way below other Cape joints. It's not fancy or quiet, but it's nice enough, and the people were nice too.

“Pizza is great!”
Reviewed August 6, 2013

We are not from the area- camping nearby-. This place was recommended for pizza and it did not disappoint! Pizza was hot and delicious, many toppings to choose from, reasonably priced, and hit the spot. We did not dine in, only carry out, so I cannot comment on service, atmosphere- etc. If we come back to the Cape, we will make a return visit. Yes, the pizza was that good.

“Bounce house and playset for the kids... no other reason to go”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

Here's the deal -- if you want mediocre, below-chain level food quality, check it out. There is a bar scene of some kind, I guess. The highlight (only good thing) is the bounce house and playset for the kids, which does help the little ones.
Service -- not good. and slow.
Prices -- fair.
Food quality -- we had pizzas, wings, chicken parm, salads and chicken dishes. Nothing was good, though not awful either.
Cleanliness -- lacking.
We wont be going back -- experience this year worse than last year.

“Food ok, but atmosphere was rough and cheap”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

The basic food we had was ok, and reasonable value, but lots of things surrounding that were quite shabby, and didn't meet the minimum levels for a 'restaurant'. Our waitress was nice and friendly, but the establishment's overall attitude beyond her control was not.

There's a bold statement on the cover of the menus that, to treat people fairly, they won't split bills or substitute food. That equal treatment pledge doesn't apply to getting bread with meals, however. We waited, then asked, and were told it was included, but it had been a busy day and it had all gone. That's an easy fix if they cared - there's a supermarket just over a mile away! It spoiled our meal, as some picked starters, and the others chose not to, planning to nibble a piece of bread until the entrees arrived.

Our water came in styrofoam cups - well, not even that, just a jug on the table, and a stack of styrofoam cups - pour it yourself! When the jug was empty, no one volunteered to fill it. (we weren't being cheap - we had alcoholic drinks too - they were in glasses and fine!) We had to get up and find someone to request more water, however.

The "Spinach and 3 cheese" calzone came without spinach or any apology! Presumably they ran out of that too, but weren't going to tell us unless we asked. But you reach a point where you don't think it is worth asking - obviously there's an overall attitude problem. Better to take it on the chin and try to keep everyone in the party cheerful!
