We have a house in Brewster where we spend summers, holidays, etc... I would imagine we eat at the Brewster Fish House at least 20 times a year and have been for 8+ years - - we've never been disappointed yet. It's so cozy, like coming home and we don't have to cook or do the dishes. PLEASE keep it up!

My wife and I live in the South End in Boston, known for its fantastic dining. We are self-proclaimed foodies and travel to the Cape several times a year. We've eaten at just about every 'nice' restaurant on the Cape and the Brewster Fish House is the best, bar none. It's less expensive than some other options, does not accept reservations (which allows time for a cocktail on their patio out front), and doesn't have a dress code to speak of. They do, however, have the most dynamic menu on the Cape, which won't disappoint. I would seek this place out at all costs. It's a small place, though, so don't plan on going with large groups.

After traveling around the Cape all day, we stopped here at 8:30pm, Wednesday, September 24th, without a reservation. We were welcomed and seated right away. Our casual dress (polo shirts and Dockers) was appropriate to the setting. All aspects of our evening here were spectacular—food, drink, service and décor. The creative seasonal menu delivered on flavor, texture, and presentation. The pear martinis were sublime—not just a flavored drink. Don’t miss the appetizers—unique and delicious. Entrees were prepared perfectly. And, the dessert cheese plate with honeycomb, currants, apple slices and crostini was truly exceptional. We appreciated the opportunity to enjoy such fine dining in a relaxed and casual setting.

A snippy waitress took away from what could have been a fabulous meal! We waited the mandatory half hour with everyone else on a Wednesday in September, but the hostess did not tell us that seating was available at the bar. Then the waitress acted like she was doing us a big favor....In spite of all this however, the food was so interesting and everything tasted wonderful. We will suffer the service to go again. This is a GOOD chef!

I loved this restaurant. It's warm, welcoming and delicious. The staff was really nice and knew almost everyone coming in which is always a good sign.

We had the calamari, scallops, grilled shrimp special and the creme brulee. All were delicious! The calamari was a little salty but still great.

Would definitely go back again when we're in Brewster again.
