The Brewster Fish House has consistenly had fresh fish served in innovative ways. We recently had grilled calamari that was wonderful. In the summer, it is very busy, but you can sit at the bar or sit outside and have a drink. Well worth the wait...

The Brewster Fish House is our favorite place to eat on Cape Cod. It continues to amaze us, year after year. Their innovative menu changes with seasonal ingredients and never ceases to delight the palette. Owner/Chef Vernon Smith has created a jewel of a restaurant. If you're on the Cape, DO NOT miss this experience.

A few standout dishes were the appetizer of fried calamari and sauerkraut and the scallops served over wakame. Freakin' amazing. We also had monkfish that was outstanding and a most delectable lobster bisque. Our go-to dessert is always the creme brulee here (it's one of the best EVER), but we were tempted into the 3-chocolate extravaganza too!

It's always a treasure and a pleasure for the palette.

They do not take reservations, but it's always worth any wait.

This place has been well-known and ver popular since it opened. The food is well prepared and inventive. You will not find the usual fried seafood and fries here - many varieties of fish, oysters, and clams in wonderful sauces, served with fresh vegetables and salads. The restaurant us "cozy" and they take no reservations. Come early to get a parking space and a table and you will not regret it.

We went to this restaurant for the great reviews. We were taken to our table directly next to the Men's Bathroom... yuck. Then my husband's steak was not to order and the lobster bisque, while it had big chunks of lobster, was watered down and almost tasteless. My dish wasn't bad but then again how can you mess up fish? Just average experience. Nothing too spectacular.
