I have tried this place twice and each time have left feeling that I should have been impressed but nope I wasn't. You get what you get---fancy expensive food. It small and loud. Not for me.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch on Valentine's Day. Fish & chips & cioppino were excellent, as was the service. We hadn't been here in awhile, so it was nice to return. Definitely one of the better restaurants on the outer Cape, and all the more enjoyable when going there off season.

We had a really delicious lunch on a very off-season Saturday in February. I had the baked scallops and my companion had fish and chips. both were really great. A lovely lunch.

After experiencing peaks and valleys at BFH over the years, we returned for lunch after a two year layoff. We had heard of ownership or chef transitions here a year or two back, and they seemed to be drifting on our last visit, but we returned to the excellent cuisine we remembered from earlier times. The chowder was exceptional - not to thick and pasty, not too brothy, not overloaded with potatoes, but with an abundance of fresh sliced clams. Scallop appetizer pleased, as did entrees of sesame crusted flounder with bok choy and baked cod. Friendly and efficient service, with goo wine by the glass selection. A nice destination in off-season Cape Cod.

Ate here twice just before the new year 2014. Blackened Cod, and Lobster Bisque were done to perfection, as was the salmon on the second evening. Service was attentive without being intrusive.
