We have been camping at Shady Knoll for 11 years now, and we will keep going there for years to come. The campground and bathrooms are very clean. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The campground is so close to the beaches, and it is very quiet, being in the campground you don't hear any of the Cape hustle and busle. I tell everybody I know if they are camping on the Cape, go to Shady Knoll , it is the best place on the Cape.

We had a great time at Shady Knoll. The facilities were impeccably cleaned every day. The showers were hot and had great pressure. The campground also offered a sink at the bathroom building for washing dishes. They ask that no pots and pans be washed there BUT they have a spigot right there for hot water to clean pots at your site. Many of the campgrounds on Cape Cod are not allowed to have campfires (what is camping without campfire cooked s'mores) but Shady Knoll allows moderate campfires. The camp sites are not right on top of each other. They afford you some privacy if you want it but if you like the social aspect of camping you are not totally isolated either. Everyone we encountered was friendly. As for proximity to attractions on Cape Cod, the campground is located practically in the center of the Cape. You are only a 5 minute drive to Rt. 6. The staff was very nice, sociable, and very helpful. Another plus was the lack of major traffic noise. I will and have recommend this campground to anyone looking for a campground on the Cape.
Happy Camping to all!

The grounds are nice, the staff is helpful and friendly and the bathrooms are so clean! Clean bathrooms are a big thing with campers and these were the best! Right on the Cape and near the beach. Easy to get to and easy to make reservations. Nice and quiet.

I've been camping close to 20 years, and this place is the cleanest I've ever been to. Clean showers, clean bathrooms, clean laundry facilities, clean dishwashing area, clean pump-out station. No matter what time of day they are clean. I love that.

The sites are bigger than most, and the place is quiet enough to do what you want to do without being bothered by your neighbors. It has your usual electric/water/sewer hook ups, but its noteworthy to mention that the electric box on each site has a built in internal light to help you see inside the box at night. That's pretty cool, I've never seen that before.

The staff is helpful and friendly and the campground is located within a short drive to pretty nice beaches, shopping and restaurants.

Without hesitation, we'll be coming back.

We camped in a tent and found it to be very quiet. Not a lot to do at the campground, but the campground was very clean and so were the restrooms and showers. About a mile walk to Breakwater Beach. There is a small convenience store across the street.

It was my first time doing camping @ US. But about the basics, the place is good located, near to the Cape cod bike trail, and car acceessible to main attractions (Around 40 mins drive to Provincetown). From my area (space 94) had access to free WIFI Bathrooms/restrooms were clean. Only concern was the staff, which was not very friendly, but w/o major issues..

This was our first visit to the Cape and we could not have picked a better campground. The location of this campground was absolutely perfect. Brewster is a great little town to stay while in Cape Cod. Its about mid point to get to all other towns on the Cape, and about 35 minutes to Provincetown. The campground has a nice small personal feel to it. Its not one of these "Super Resort" type of campgrounds but more like the good "Old Fashion" type that I camped in with my family while growing up. The sites are a fair size, the bathrooms super clean, great burning firewood at a fair price and the staff in the camp store are super friendly and helpful. And oh yes they do have WIFI!! There is no swimming at the campground but trust me you are surrounded by plenty of beautiful beaches only a few minutes from the campground. There is a handy small grocery market right across the street that is walking distance from the campground.
The first day we arrived we were tired after setting up in our site with water and electric. We asked for a recommendation in the camp store for a good place to eat that was near by and they recommended a great little place right in Brewster called J T s. It had delicious seafood served unpretentiously either outside on the deck or inside of the restaurant. It was just perfect! Brewster also has the best homemade ice cream shop on the Cape. Its called the Brewster Scoop. There are plenty of others on the Cape but without a doubt their ice cream is the best.

All and all we just found Shady Knoll Campground to be the perfect choice for our vacation on the Cape. Give it a try....You won't be disappointed!
