“Customer Service at its best”

Excellent first impression from my first time at a Hampton Inn. Though a frequent Hilton guest my main expectation was for clean and convenient - which was well met. What highlights this specific Braintree location?.... simply, excellent customer service. Management, front desk, service staff, housekeeping all engaging, helpful and interested in the customer. Welcome notes & towel "sulptures" from housekeeping add a personal touch. For extra requirements like getting couriers or holiday (Christmas eve) dinner reservations they provided extra, prompt assistance. Honestly, better service than I've received in some "full service" hotels. Breakfast buffet a good variety, 24/7 coffee service a bonus. Gym small, but serviceable; pool good for "short" laps. Jacuzzi closed during my stay. Laundry facility clean. Printer access good but some "restrictions" on biz center PC's internet access. Wifi very good.
I'll use Hampton Inn again. Braintree has set a high bar for other locations.

Of all the hotels that I have stayed in over the years, none have come close to the level of customer service that I experienced at the Braintree, Mass Hampton Inn. The staff went out of their way to make sure that I had what I needed. Being a first timer to the Boston area, this was a huge help when it came to finding my way around. I would recommend this hotel to anybody who is visiting the area.

Clean quiet rooms, helpful staff that appears to be empowered to help guests. Clean, quiet rooms. Good fitness room. Free breakfast good and improving from 4 years ago. Lounge area neat and comfortable.

Average, overall. Clean, no real complaints with the check-in/out. Room was fine. But for the price, I thought the breakfast could have been better, compared to other hotels similar to this that offer complimentary breakfast, yet their daily rate was quite less.

The attention to detail of the staff at this facility is the best I have experienced; the staff from check-in to departure is exceptional and in my opinion the notes the housekeeping staff leave and the origami style art created with the towels are a personal touch that has been long forgotten in customer service today. I always look forward to the end of the day when I can go back to my room and relax; this is truly a home away from home! P.S. I don't know what the compensation is for the staff members at Braintree but I can assure you it definitely is not enough.

Poor Poor customer service.....Manager unresponsive to complaint, until he hears, I am going to report the problem to Hilton Corporate. Cold items on the breakfast should not include Oatmeal, Eggs, Sausage. Waffle maker operating at 1/2 temperature and toasters not functioning at all....so much for the "Hot Breakfast" they advertise

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your recent visit to our hotel. My sincerest apologies for the problems you encountered with breakfast on Saturday morning. The electrical circuit that powers the breakfast area failed, and despite our best efforts this affected the food temperature and availability of electrical appliances such as the toaster and waffle maker. We have corrected the problem and are working through our Hilton channels in order to resolve this issue to your satisfaction. Again my sincere apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for your feedback.

Friendly and helpful staff. New interior with a regional flavor for historic Boston. Only 5 minutes from nearest T station by free shuttle bus. Much quieter and cheaper than staying in-town, close to South Shore Plaza Mall and Braintree restaurants.
