Went for Sunday Brunch the food was satisfactory but not nearly as tasty as J's dinner menu.
J's did not offer a broad selection nor any high-end options that you may find at many brunches. The breakfast items were traditional and very good but J’s fell short on the lunch side offering budget items (chicken with pasta and pork with rice) no sign of fish, shell fish or a nice cut of beef. Food was fresh; the staff regularly rotated out and replenished with fresh and hot entrees.
Service was very good.
Ambiance is what I highly recommend. The restaurant is set in a lovely New England house with nicely decorated comfortable rooms to dine. The wait staff did not rush us and the bunch was at a casual pace and very enjoyable allowing us to settle in and feel relaxed in the restaurant.
After eating we enjoyed sampling the Nashoba vineyards selection of wine and beer and strolled around the property.
All in all a very lovely late summer Sunday afternoon.
