Found this place online, the rooms looked perfect to suit 2 couples. We were able to book a 2 bedroom suite with a full kitchen. We were a little disappointed when we walked in, it smelled, it was rundown, and the bathroom was way to small for 4 people to be sharing, it only had a small window for ventilation. For a bathroom that small, they need to install an exhaust fan.
It would have been nice if the pictures they posted online were those of their other units, not just the nicer updated ones.
Won't go back.

Wanted something close to the Cummings Center for a conference with some character, at a reasonable cost. Hotel is excellently maintained old style motor inn. Room was spacious and clean with kitchen; owners and staff were graciously responsive to questions and requests; for reasonably quick access into city of Boston-Cambridge walk ac street for commuter rail stop. Free WiFi. The North Shore area including is beautiful and historic. Owners live on grounds.

We've stayed in Garden Suites for 3 nights during our trip to east coast. It is very well located, in a very nice, safe and beatiful town close to Boston by car and other attractions like Salem,Cape Cod,etc. In principle we have reservation for a small room with kitchen in the lower level, which i really didn't know it was under street level,so it was a little big problem for us who were travelling with a baby and stroller. If you don't have this mobility problems, reserve this room,it is big enough and nice.
The Garden Suites is a oldie property, quite well conserved and very clean. So when we started to prepare the meal for our baby we discover some electrical problem with the stove that make it not working at all. The staff response was very quick and we were lucky it was no room in our level,so we were upgraded to a suite in ground level, which was much more bigger (it has two independent rooms and living-room apart of the kitchen) and with no charge by our side.
So it was very kind and convenient to make our stay more confortable with our baby.We could prepare meals and carry baby stuff with no extra effort by our side.
I higky recommend people to stay in Beverly Garden Suites is a very charming property.

We stayed at the Beverly Garden Suites for three nights a few days ago and had a wonderful experience there,
We were visiting Boston and wanted to stay somewhere more affordable then downtown Boston as we are on a long holiday in the US. The motel is just across the road from Beverly North comuter rail station and takes about 40mins into downtown. We had no problems using the train.
The room was very big and came with a kitchenette, and could not fault anything with room, it was well maintained and quiet.
The area the hotel is located in seemed to be a good neighbourhood and had a macdonalds and starbucks just a few mins walk away. There were also a couple of other resturants in the area. There was also a big supermarket just across the street so we found that very useful
Also the motel had free wi fi
if we were to visit boston again I would defently stay here again

Convenient locale - definitely.
Homey friendly atmosphere - absolutely.
Your run-of-the-mill chain motel - no way.
This is an older building but with it's very own charm. Only 20 units, it's like being in a nice little apartment. The rooms are spacious with a completely stocked full kitchen.
The entire place is immaculate with very comfortable beds. The bedroom windows look out on a lovely large yard with raised garden beds. The bath room had thick forest green towels instead of the stark white ones you find in most motels. It's on the corner of a main street but rooms face a quiet residential street so their is NO road noise at all. Good restaurants, bank and market all within walking distance. Train to Boston is one block away. The owners and staff are warm, friendly people who go out of their way to make sure your stay is everything you could want. And the price is very reasonable compared to other places in and around Boston. Unless you're looking for the Ritz, if you can't be home, this is the place to be.
