“Tastefully Quaint!”
Reviewed October 1, 2013

We failed to make reservations for lunch so decided to have lunch at bar. Pizza oven made part of my decision, spinach & mushroom was very good. Shared small portion lobster risotto with lunch partner not a repeat dish. Chicken sandwich was second entre and according to my friend very good. The bar service was on point. I look forward to returning for shopping, early dinner and plan to have reservations.

“Very nice brunch spot”
Reviewed September 30, 2013

A group of 8 friends had Sunday brunch at this spot. Very nice atmosphere, great brunch food, and very reasonable. We all liked this so much we will come back and have dinner as well.

“A destination spot for lunch”
Reviewed September 30, 2013

On a leaf-peeping tour with a friend, we stopped in to get lunch. We had no reservations, and the wait was going to be 45 minutes on a Friday. When a table opened up unexpectedly, they immediately accomodated us, even though most of their clientele seemed to be familiars. The quiche was made from scratch with local and seasonal vegetables sauteed to perfection. (No woody asparagus in September!). The crust was hand made and delicious. My companion's seared salmon on a bed of red quinoa and fresh zucchini looked marvelous and evidently matched by flavor. Service was great. Terrific atmosphere in a New England farm house turned to restaurant, with falling leaves outside, immaculately kept grounds made this a very memorable surprise.

“Wonderful FInd!”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

We were returning back to Vermont when we noticed a sign on the highway advertising The Farm Table. My husband looked it up and set the GPS to Bernardston, MA. The Village is quaint (although we arrived after 6 p.m. and the stores were closing) and The Farm Table is absolutely lovely. We were fortunate to get a table for two (because of a cancellation) and from start to finish, the food and service was excellent. My husband had the salmon and I ordered the chicken. Both excellent! We shared the peach cobbler with ice cream. I strongly recommend calling in advance to reserve a table (especially on weekends) because the wait without a reservation might be two hours! We will definitely return when heading back to Bernardston and will call for reservations.

“Delightful lunch - Luv the atmosphere”
Reviewed September 16, 2013

On a recent trip to Western Mass, we stopped here for a delightful lunch. It was a chilly Friday afternoon and we had about a 15 min wait. We sat in the side room which was cozy enough but the main dining area is quite impressive. The service was very good and attentive even though he seemed to be almost reading from a script at times. We tried two different pizzas (Margherita and the Mushroom & Spinach) which both were excellent. We also ordered the Farm Table Burger and Grilled Chicken – all very good. The atmosphere is quaint and appealing but a bit too chilly inside (esp when it was so chilly outside). Definitely recommend and look forward to another visit for lunch next time we are in the area. Would like to try dinner there but seemed a bit pricey. Also do not miss the Kringle Candle shops – great fun and shopping
