My daughter and I went to Washington, D.C. for her 17th birthday and had an opportunity to meet with a cousin for dinner. Our cousin chose this place and we were very pleased with her choice. There was a very short wait and once we were seated, someone immediately took our drink order. The Hibachi Chef was very personable and friendly and made the dining experience quite enjoyable. He did lots of tricks and engaged with everyone at the table. My daughter was the only teenager and he included her in his "dinner show."
We have dined in other Japanese Restaurants and the food and service here was on the same level as some of my favorites. We had been on the go sightseeing for days and it was nice to enjoy a dinner where we were catered to and treated so well. The portion sizes were good and the food was seasoned nicely.
This was a nice place to dine out and I would recommend it and I would dine here again.
