“Fabulous Sail!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2013

My husband and I first had the opportunity to sail on the Lady Patty during our Honeymoon almost 14 years ago. We have been back many times to sail with Captain Jeff and each trip has been a spectacular adventure on this magnificent sail boat. Captain Jeff is friendly, gracious, and a superb host. He is extremely knowledgeable about the Chesapeake Bay, the environment, life on Tilghman Is. and welcomes questions. Lady Patty is a more intimate setting than other excursions due to the number of passengers allowed on board. Socializing with others in this relaxed setting just occurs naturally. We have enjoyed both the day and sunset cruises equally. I must also rave about the fabulous Lady Patty Margaritas! We make sure to arrange a sail each time we are visiting St. Michael's or staying on Tilghman Island. We look forward to many more trips to come!

Every trip on Lady Patty is delightful. Captain Jeff is very knowledgable of the bay and the environs. Expect to chat and laugh with fellow passengers as this beautiful sailboat carries you through the Chesapeake. Already looking forward to my next sail!

“This is sailing!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 14, 2013

For a weekend visit to St. Michael's I researched sailing & found three boats. One carries up to 50 passengers, the second charges approx $80 for the sunset sail, and the third was the Lady Patty, which carries up to 12 passengers & charges approx $45 for the sunset sail. No contest in my mind. The dock was very easy to find & shares a plentiful parking lot with a restaurant & tiki bar, which made for easy parking as well as a handy place for bathroom breaks & drinks before or after. All important things. We actually sailed out into the main area of the Chesapeake and Captain Jeff gave us the option of sailing along gently, or going full sail to really catch the wind. We chose the latter so we were cutting through the water at a good tilt for awhile which was great. We also enjoyed the plentiful adult beverages, and Captain Jeff was the friendliest captain ever, with lots of great stories about the history of the boat as well as info about the Bay. We had been in doubt about whether to go that evening because it had been raining and unpleasant for the past day, but I'm so glad we did because the weather cleared and the sky gave us quite a show of dramatic clouds & colors at sunset. Just perfect!

Thanks for the kind words! That really was a fun sail. It turned out to not be quite as fast as we thought after the wind moderated but I enjoyed visiting with you both. Thanks again..Cheers! -Jeff

“A Great Anniversary”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2012

For our fifth anniversary our friends sent us on a champagne sunset cruise on the Lady Patty. It was my wife's first trip on a sailboat and they made it very special. I've been sailing before and it was just like sailing with friends. It's nice to see people doing what they love. Thanks again Jeff and crew. ~Ketih and Emily
