“The BEST Bed and Breakfast”

In every way, Bob and Tracy have exceeded expectations. It is a perfect venue for any occasion, wedding, graduation, reunion. My husband and I were married on the grounds of this facility and the proprietors made every detail their mission to make perfect and accommodate our needs. It may be a bit of a drive from Baltimore but I can only say that it is time well spent.

Room Tip: Please get up early at sunrise and stay up past sunset to see these sparkling events play out over t...

It was beautiful in January; I would love to experience BWPI during other seasons. A bit pricey for a casual weekend, but would be a wonderful value for a special occasion get-a-way. Cozy, pampered, warm, inspiring, friendly are all descriptions that come to mind.

These folks were the best. They could not have been more kind and accomodating. After they'd learned I'd lost my daughter recently and my personal life was in shambles, they offered for me to stay free for longer "on them". The location is breathtaking, and the innkeepers are as caring as they can be. I heartily recommend them and The Walnut Point Inn to all. Carl Hicks 253.219.6065.

Room Tip: Call early, they are becoming recognized for the value and gem that they are.

It just doesn't get any better than waking up, we stayed in one of the cabins, opening your eyes to a view of water and sound of birds, Tracy and Bob go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and your every wish is accommodated. Peggy and Virginia make sure your breakfast is to your liking, and they even have vegetarian fare. We were very fortunate, since we were there in late Nov, to have one on one time with Tracy and Bob to learn how they came to be B&B owners; they truly are delightful. We just felt like we where family; even Harry the cat let me take her picture. Sam, her sister was hiding. I'll get her picture next time.

Million Dollar HOSPITALITY, Million Dollar VIEW!
Spotlessly clean, wonderful innkeepers, and great home cooking. The main house and dining room are charming. This is an island of serenity and well worth the trip! Thanks, Tracy & Bob!

Room Tip: The cabins are excellent--peaceful, with a great kitchen a beautiful view of the water and the sunri...

I came for a short "get-away"... and DID !! The trek out to Black Walnut Point through the scenic countryside allowed me (as some writer stated) to leave my cares behind. I was warmly greeted by Tracy, given a tour of the main house and its amenities, and enjoyed a walk on the grounds and a chat with Bob as he tended the flower beds... before going into Tilghman village for a crabcake dinner at the Bay Hundred restaurant recommended by Tracy. The Bay Room was warm and comfortable, and the fresh-cooked Breakfast was all I could have wished. I have found a new Jewel only 2 hours from home !!

Room Tip: Just review the clear and complete room photos on Website, and be aware that rooms in main house are...

The Black Walnut Point Inn is a very historic, well-kept, and enjoyable inn. Bob and Tracy obviously love what they do and it shows in the overall experience. It was a cold, windy day when I was there, but I was kept warm in my attic room with the space heater. I also found a number of extra blankets and comforters in one of the trunks. I look forward to going back there in warmer weather so I can enjoy the grounds more.
