We celebrated our 40th anniversary at the Black Walnut Point Inn, and felt right at home - inside and outside! The property is full of "prepared places" for rest and relaxation...the bay surrounds the property so there are many vantage points for drinking in the beauty. It was delicious to lie in the pull on the float looking up into the trees at the gorgeous birds....the cross at the end of the property gives one the sense that the place is blessed - and that was truly our experience. We stayed in the house which is beautiful and historic...the breakfasts were huge and scrumptious and served with friendliness - several couples stayed at the same time and the atmosphere was so friendly...we hope to return!
