We recently had dinner at Antrim 1844 and then spent the night there. The whole weekend was a great time. First we had a cocktails with the other dinners in two of the drawing rooms of the mansion, beautifully decorated, very festive. The scotch was great and we chatted with several other diners. Then we were seated and began the meal. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was impeccable. I had a filet mignon so tender I could have cut it with a fork, the wine servings were excellent. If you are a wine connoisseur the wine list (book really) is unending, the server told us they have over 20,000 bottles in the wine cellar. We lingered over dessert and then walked back to our room for the night. The room was beautiful, we woke up to snow flurries and then walked back to the restaurant for breakfast. Make sure you check out the gardens behind the mansion, beautiful! Looking forward to returning. Jeff and Esther

We have been regular diners at Sheppards Mansion, Hanover, PA till Chef Little moved to another location and the restaurant closed.
We went to Antrum expecting the same dining experience but were disappointed with food and service. We were constantly being offered alcohol, the food was poor quality and inferior. We waited a long time for a course to be served.

Our dinner was part of our package. It included a 5 course dinner. The atmosphere was wonderful with slate floors and brick walls, they sat us next to the working fireplace. The food and wine were top notch and the service was excellent. I was blown away.

My wife summed it up by saying she felt like we were dining at Downton Abby. The meal and wine were top notch... a little pricey but I was not surprised. the Filet Minion I had was perfect, my wife had the rock fish and from my tastes was equally wonderful. Jason, our waiter took excellent care of us throughout the meal and expressed a very strong understanding of their extensive wine cellar. I would go back in a second.

Did not take as long as you would think, and portions were just right. Quality and taste were excellent.
