We visited Deep Creek lake from VA beach over Winter break. We did some skiing and tubing. We had a great time, the home was beautiful and had lots of space for kids to hang; pool, rec room, hot tub etc when we werent out on the slopes. The refrigerators all worked fine and the place was immaculate. Kids kept saying they felt like they were at the "jersey shore" everytime we all (11) sat down at the square huge table for a family meal. Great family bonding (didnt go to hold up in the rooms watching TV, Dont think we ever turned one on) We loved are little get away! Hope to go back again soon! Exceeding Expectations lived up to its name.

We rented this house for our family vacation and this house is NOTHING like the pictures betray!! The house is completely run down outside, the grass is all over grown, the wood on the decks looks like they are going to fall down!! The lower level of the home smells so bad you can barely walk through it! The air hockey table was all broken and taped together and missing the puck. The TV in the main great room was about 20", so you could barely see it. The TV in the master bedroom only worked on one channel and the remote didn't work. The washer and dryer are all rusted and gross. This house was so bad that we left the next day. We made the rental company move us to another home. Basically our vacation was ruined because of this home. They should take this home off the rental market and make renovations. The pictures show a sunny, bright manicured lawn, but the grass is all overgron and the yard is a mess, the decks are dirty. We paid over $5000 for this house for a week!! Completely ridiculous!! They moved us to another house that rents for $1500 cheaper and did not give us a refund for the difference. We had 14 people on this vacation and it was runied for everyone. Complete false advertisement!!

This is a lovely home, and my overall stay was okay. There were, however, a few things that need to be addressed. They advertise this home as having 2 refrigerators. The fridge in the kitchen had a draw that was broken and just sitting in the bottom of the fridge, which limited the amount of space to place food. The other fridge in the mud room was not even working and was way too hot to put food in. I called the service people out and he vacuumed off the back of the fridge and said that should fix the problem but it didn't. I had to get by with food for 11 people in 3 very small styrofoam coolers and 6 small bags of ice that they provided to me. This to me was unacceptable. When you are renting a home that cost over $2,000 for a short weekend, EVERYTHING should be properly working! Although everything else about the house was great, the experience with the refridgerators is enough to keep me from going back.
