Would have given it an outstanding, unfortunately, it is not being maintained all that well; and many of the visitors are being careless with the trash. The walks and the beach are littered. There is even trash on the ground around the trash cans.

Now the good part: A neat duck blind for viewing migratory birds. A varied topography of salt water marsh, sandy bay viewing, natural forest and streams and even meadows. Great for walking, picture taking and biking.

Excellent walking and biking trails. Beach access to the Chesapeake. Great for watching waterfowl.

This beautiful natural beach on Kent Island, Maryland is on the eastern shore of the Chesapeake Bay. It's open to the public and requires no entrance fee. The beach itself is long, somewhat narrow, and full of jetsam. It also has a lot of trash between the tall grass and the sand, but the sand to the water is largely free of trash and has a rugged beauty. The beach also had lots of beautiful sea glass and porcelain pieces. It's a great beach for individuals and couples, but families with kids would enjoy it too.
