My wife and I spent a wonderful weekend at the Inn at Perry Cabin. The room was very nice, and the private garden was a very nice additional feature. The Pool and spa were very popular during the hot weekend. My wife and I both enjoyed the Inns proximity to St. Michael's. The Inn also had a large selection of suggested activities that were very well received! The grounds were very well turned out, and we enjoyed spending time on the lawn, and making s'mores as well. The town with it's attractions is a short walk away, but still far enough that you do not feel like you are in the middle of it all.

Room Tip: Rooms with Private gardens are very nice.

The Inn at Perry Cabin is perfect if you are looking for a quiet, charming retreat. The setting on the river is beautiful and St. Michael's is a few footsteps away for a charming little town. The staff is professional and friendly. Our room was charming, immaculate and had great turndown service. Dinner was delicious with amazing service, a must! Ask for a seat by the window either at dinner or breakfast.

Room Tip: We stayed in an older room in the main house. If you don't like the charm of "creaking&quo...

My wife and I just spent a fantastic week at this property. After a short, scenic drive from BWI, we arrived in St. Michael's. We were greeted by a courteous staff, And our room was elegant and comfortable. The restaurant overlooks the bay and was the perfect spot for a romantic dinner. Whether you want an active vacation or just want to get away and rest, this is the perfect spot. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful, classy, absolutely charming Inn! We spent two days of luxury and relaxation, enjoying the grounds, bikes, spa, pool, and glorious ambiance. Can't recommend it enough! And the town of St. Michael's is a delightful place to peruse shops, cafes, and even some history.

Room Tip: Our room overlooked the bay, and had a lovely porch with outdoor seating.

The Inn is lovely; beautiful setting on the water. Our room was a very large suite with water views. The bed was great; the bathroom was the best I've seen in a while. The service was very good, including housekeeping with terrific turndown. Staff was helpful and friendly. We spent hours on the hotel provided bikes, went kayaking and sat by the beautiful, yet small, pool. Cons: very pricey suite rates, 10% per day resort charge, odd placement of clunky TVs in the suite.
We enjoyed eating at the Inn's restaurants as well as at the local eateries. Short walk to town for shopping and restaurants.
Overall a very happy anniversary stay.

Thank you very much for your feedback. I am so glad you chose to spend such a special event such as your anniversary with us. We are currently planning on having all the TV boxes switched out to flat screens by the end of the year. I hope you will come back on your next anniversary to see our new TV's and enjoy the bikes and kayaks again!

Sincerely,

Chris Sullivan

This is probably the easiest review for me to write; we simply love everything about the Inn at Perry Cabin ("IPC"). IPC not only does everything well, it does it seamlessly. We have been here as a couple and also as a family with older and younger children and always enjoyed to the fullest.

The Location - Waterfront on a quiet inlet off the river, a great spot to either cruise into or out of. Absolutely gorgeous setting with a great lawn dotted with white adirondack chairs, a swing and gazebos. One of the best spots around, love to to sit on the patio with a cup of coffee in the morning and watch the sailing school go out. A quick hop to the Marina or walk to downtown with easy access to the Crab Claw, Theo's, Foxy's, and South St if you are out late. Opening of St Michaels own rum and bourbon distillery, Lyon Distilling Company is much anticipated.

The Property - Beautifully designed and decorated. Great old photos of Chesapeake Bay racing yachts adorn the walls. The rooms are straight out of Coastal Living with the larger rooms having bathrooms full of marble, dark wood, and silver accents. Very tastefully done.

Dining - Sherwood's Landing, the Pub, and the pool offer a great mix of dining options from formal to bathing suit. Excellent drinks at both the Pub and pool. Ask for the Rum Runner on the rocks at the pool, a great take on a classic.

Amenities - Fantastic pool and spa for relaxing and Offshore Sailing School or complementary bikes for the more active days. An easy wander to downtown St Michaels.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn the weekend of August 2nd. We booked a last minute weekend getaway and had a wonderful time in St. Michaels. We stayed in one of the water view master suites. The "water view" was pretty obstructed by trees that could easily be pruned for better views. The room was gorgeous and huge! The bathroom was the size of some apartments. The only weird thing was that one of the TVs was at the foot of the bed and totally blocked any view available when in bed. It would be nice to wake up and look outside instead of looking at an outdated TV. The turndown service was nice, cookies were great.

We had amazing service and everyone was great. (unlike other reviews I read)

The resort fee isn't bad if you like to be active. Some places charge up to $30 pp just to use a fitness center so it all equals out. We definitely utilzed the bikes available. They were great! We biked all over St. Michaels. Loved that feature. Also got to use the "fitness center" which was nice, but small and not supervised. When we were there, 2 kids (under the age of 14) kept coming in and using/abusing equipment with no supervision. (granted, where were their parents? Oh, at the pool). I would think that creates some hotel liability, but I'm no attorney. :)

Overall, would absolutely stay there again. It is ridiculously overpriced but was so relaxing for us, was worth it this time!

Room Tip: ask for waterviews and higher floors have less noise.
