“Outstanding casual dining on the harbor...”
Reviewed August 26, 2010

Outstanding casual dining on the harbor in St. Michael's MD on the Eastern Shore. We had a delicious lunch-- field green salad, shrimp quesadila and an extraordinary crab cake. The crab cake was exemplary: light and fresh with no filler-- I have never tasted better. Reesy provided friendly and expert service. Sit outside if weather permits-- the harbor view is lovely.

Noticed that the Town Dock also provides a full range of entered at night

“Nice view”

We enjoyed an early dinner here & enjoyed the view. This had more ambiance than the other seafood restaurant we visited. Cloth table coverings & napkins and attentive service.

“We were disappointed..”
Reviewed August 15, 2010

It is a bea.utiful setting, but we wouldn't go back. We asked for a table next to the window and it took 3 tries before we were actually seated at one-even though there were several available. Service was slow-it seemed as if our waitress was too busy elsewhere. No drink refills-drop and run. Salads were great-appetizer disappointing and dinner came with veggies only-no potato or rice. We would not recommend this restaurant.

“Overboard”
Reviewed August 4, 2010

After extensive roaming for a parking spot, arrived with a reservation for a party of eight on a Friday night. The remote table should have been the first clue to what would follow. Waitress finally showed up after a 30 minute wait proclaiming that she was not assigned our table, which left me wondering "so why are you here"? She condecended to taking our drink order and promptly disappeared for 25 minutes (timed it with my stopwatch feature). Drinks arrived and some looked awfully light colored. We ordered off an extremely pricey, limited menu and yep, she disappeared for another 30 minutes. Can't speak for others in our party, but the wife's and my meals were cold. The wife sent hers back after trying a bite and it came back untouchably hot out of the microwave, turning medium rare into well done. That'll teach her to complain! I tried several times to get a second cup of coffee, while another person in our party asked for water. Never got them. But the waitress finally arrived with a bill that reminded me of the national debt and she pointed out that the gratuity was included. Lucky for her that it was. About the water view, must be there somewhere, cause there sure was an absolutely wonderful view of lots of very big boats, (maybe ships, I'm a landlubber and don't know the difference). We left, never to return.

“We will not return...”
Reviewed July 12, 2010

I have to agree with the other reviewers on this site--the service was friendly and quick and the view very nice--but the food was not good. Almost everything we had was bland, overcooked, and/or unappealingly chewy.
