We wanted a nice place for a special night out and decided on 208 Talbot. A lovely, old place
With tons of character. You can sit in the bar and get a bar menu, but we reserved a table in one of the main dining rooms. When we first arrived, it was a chilly night, and there was a breeze on us from the AC. Within minutes of mentioning it to our waitress, no more cold air! They are very attentive. We did not try any appetizers, but they sounded great. We went for scallops and braised pork. The pork was the absolute best. The scallops were cooked to perfection, but had some grit in them. Wine list and beer selection are very nice.
If you want a special night out, this is a really nice choice.
