Driving over to St. Michael's for a weekend stay from Virginia, this was the first place we ate, and the last place we ate before we left. We had a GREAT time here.
Small, cozy and warm. That describes the place and the vibe. Nice fireplace in the middle, a handful of tables, and the best hostess/bartender we had during our stay (hi Christine!).
Oh...the food. Most excellent! Really interesting twists on Tex-Mex without meat, and it was all light and delicious.
We had a range of things, from the salmon & blue cheese burrito (HUGE...share it unless you are really hungry), crab dip quesos with sprouts, an amazing tomato soup, and the best fish tacos we've had in a long time (Cayman Islands 2 yrs ago).
And the best part...terrific margaritas. Order them with Patron & no ice for the maximum flavor. My wife had a regular, I had the pomegranate. Well, being honest, more than one. ;)
We love this place so much, we stopped on the way home to order takeout (since out lunch meal was less than ideal...see my other review.)
You'll dig this place. I hate to see what the traffic is like in the summer. I bet it's hard to get a table because it's just that good.
