Not fabulous, but perfectly delightful lunch. Their fried oysters were clearly battered and cooked with fresh local product right before they were served. Can't answer for what happens in the summer.

Sometimes this is the only breakfast place in town but it's pretty good. My western omelette had a package of cold sandwich meat in the middle but the portion sizes were huge so I can't complain too much. It was a good alternative to the skimpy hotel continental breakfast.

Wed nite was half price burger night. The burger was excellent and came with delicious homemade chips. My husband also had a special which was steak and shrimp. Could not recommend that too fatty. But they brought him some homemade chips! Stick to the burger and it's a winner

Having found most places closed on a cold winters day in St. Michaels, we had lunch at Carpenters Street saloon. Shamrocks were still in evidence from the previous night St Patrick's Day revelry but despite her likely late night, our server was cheerful and attentive. We chose the saucy crab and pretzel appetizer and the lump crab cake sandwich. Both were overflowing with crab and delicious. Our booth overlooked the street where we could watch passersby but the interior of this cozy bar and restaurant was equally entertaining as half the people were eating at the bar and chatting like old friends. We couldn't resist having crab but the burgers looked great too.
